nah, I'll give BMB a "get out of jail" pass on this one, just because I had the same happen to UT's Challenger. Yup, he was missing a piece and I was looking all over and thinking, well maybe he's designed that way? lol
I think this aspect we can give all the figure makers a pass, at least once. It just pops off and they pack it up not noticing.

 

This product is very large and heavy.
Nevertheless, all joints are strong.

Even with this pose, it holds up well.
Even when the legs are lifted and shaken, the legs of this product do not sag down.

Remember the Shockwave issue?
This product is completely different from Shockwave.

It feels like the company has put a lot of care into this product.
I was unlucky and received a defective product. Other than this, there are very few issues with this product.

Oh, I have a bit of an issue.

The handle of the sword is rather short, so it is inconvenient to hold the sword in the hand of the product as it is divided into two.
The wrist of this product is strong, but when the shield is lifted, the wrist bends inward.

The shield is that big and heavy.
So, using the shield, it is difficult to take various poses.

The detail of the moving hand is quite outstanding.
This is the only issue with this product that I felt while shooting the video so far.

My review on this OSKO Sentinel Prime. (Pictures heavy)

Packaging
The size of this box is so damn huge and weigh 3KG (beware of your shipping cost). It is comparable to Titan class Ark and Jiang Xing Winged Dragon except it is not as thick as them. Inner layer is using dual layer of transparent cover and there's a piece of transparent plastic covering SP.


Accessories
Out of the box, the cape is not installed. So both capes are placed inside the box separately with all the weapons. This round BMB has done a good job in packing them. Each of the single piece of accessory is packed individually inside a transparent bag.


The weapons set is the best I found so far in the market. It even outdoing the offering of DNA with it sculpt and paint. The shield really show accurate where the center piece is way much thicker. There are 2 levels of heigh for the handle attachment for your choosing. I advise not to unpeg it once you tab it in as it is very tight. The sword can be attached to the handle piece of you are not using it. A neat touch but I won't recommend it as it will hinder the shield handling


You can find Cybertronian marking on both the sword (shame on DNA that it doesn't have it). Only one sword comes with a tab to the hand while the not. Although most of time people will combine the sword but I wish both handles come with a tab should user choose to wield the swords separately.


The blaster is nicely sculpted and painted. It comes with LED and thr handle is very tight. I'll recommend you to loosen the screw. Material wise is good as I fell the blaster few times during photo shooting fr chest height and it survived


Alt Mode
The transformation retain 90% from SS with some changes to the front cab and back. Transformation is tiring as the figure is heavy (1.2KG) and many tabs, especially those connecting the roof to the foot are damn hard to tab due to the paint. I have shaved some of the tabs to get everything tab in properly.


You will get extra paint and details compared to SS including some of these fine details


Bot Mode
Transformation to Bot mode is 10 times easier. I'll try to highlight some of the small changes that BMB made which make this SP looks better. Some are concerns about the plastic used here and I would say it is one of the best from BMB. Plastic felt denser compare to BS02 Sky Breaker. I'm not transforming this thing as careful as I used to be on previous BMB products and I have tab and untab those super tight tabs a few times and everything intact

Diecast is used on the shoulder pads, tip of the foot and if not mistaken, the chest pieces are diecast too. The wheels on the chest can now be angled to have a cohesive looks to the overall body shape

My nitpick here is why BMB don't bother of painting the ring and the rope on the chest.


BMB added a small piece of panels which is spring loaded and move the back of the truck part to the back of the leg. It is clean and nice. The 2 wheels on each side of the leg have some small changes too. A new joint is added to the upper wheel where you and pull it backwards and angled it into the inner leg. There is a piece of panels on the lower wheel where you can flip it over to hide the wheel and gives you more screen accurate.


I like how clean the back looks now compare to SS. The front bumper is now moved to form the back of SP. The windscreen into 4 pieces and added ball joints so that it is now placed at the back of the original cape. You can change the cape via the muchroom peg and the new cape is made of soft rubber and definitely is my choice of displaying it


Head scuplt is way way much better than SS. Info mentioned that this is not upscale of SS head scuplt but is a copy of an alternative 3rd party head scuplt. You can really tell it is a lot different compare to the one on SS. I really like the details on the painted blue eyes and I think it looks way better than having the LED.


The arm panels are slightly changed compared to SS. It looks more 3 dimensional and the panels I belive is made of hard rubber. The tip of the hose in alt mode (not sure how to call it) can now be attached to the side of the arm to gives you more screen accurate. Parts forming? Yes, and I don't even bother. The full articulated fingers are nice and each of the fingers come with 3 points of articulation. The scuplt is really nice


I have remove the grey translucent chest piece and replace it with some transparent plastic. Not sure why BMB don't use transparent as I believe it is more screen accurate and it reveals the inner details way better.


All the weapons can be tabbed to the hand very securely and you won't worry of having it to fall out (except if you choose to hold the swords separately as only one of the handles come with a tab). I suggest not to peg the shield all the way in as you will find it difficult to remove the shield

The shield is quite hefty but the joints are very tight and it can handle those weapons easily


For the sake of our planet's survival, a deal has to be made with Megatron

Yeah, i don't really mind the whole size discrepancy between the two- i honestly find Sentinel to be appropriately taller to that of Optimus

but of course, scaled to preferences-

 

I did a small changes beside changing the transparent chest piece


I saw there is a peg on this chest ring but don't see any port to peg it in. So I thought to drill a small hole to peg it. As I don't have a drill, I use a small nail and punch it through

Wait then how did others have it stay in place?

 

they probably cut the peg off so that it sits flush onto the original port that resides lower- likely to make it more concise and not look like it's just dangling-

 

The center of the ring has a bigger peg to tab the piece on the chest but the ring is loose. The ring got one small peg but there is no port so I punch a hole to hold the ring

mostly lazyness. I usually just quickly slap em onto the shelf and just hope they'll stay there. Only ones I make sure are standing with their feet flat on the ground are my combiners and Unicrons.
