Exactly. For example I just got SS86 Slug today and that cost $50 US. It has a pretty simple transformation but not only is it big but it has double jointed elbows, ratcheted shoulders, ratcheted hip joints, and double jointed ratcheted knees. That more than justifies the leader price.

True, those make them more doled than today’s leaders, but is that anymore complex than leader from a few years ago? Not really. Which is why it’s funny to hear size be the only thing people ever use as an excuse to make people forget about the better built leaders of old.

 

Here at Haslab Super Funding General things continue to be crazy. We are currently experiencing over a hundred new backers per day reporting symptoms of Saberitis. Cases have leveled off somewhat since the disastrous spike just over a week ago; however, officials are concerned about a potential new wave arriving over the next few days. More problematically, some are suggesting that if the backer numbers truly skyrocket it may reveal brand new symptoms including the inability to sit down, increased resistance to shots, and the problematic condition known as V-LoC, which has proved difficult for the EMS Fire and Police to handle on their own.

In order to combat this, officials advise you to hide your bank cards, limit online exposure, and tell your spouse about any new unexplainable attractions to the colors red, white, and blue, or subtitles.

 

The thing is, it is clear when you spend much of your time analyzing these figures behind a camera. You can take an aggregate of all the figures released under certain size classes, both historically and modernly, and get a very good idea of what belongs where.
I'm also not saying everyone who disagrees is trying to protect backing numbers, but with the amount of blowback I'm getting for pointing out the obvious, I'd be shocked if at least some people aren't motivated by such a concern.

It's not a retail figure, but it's very comparable to one. There are the same hollow parts, empty forearms and similar articulation to anything put out on toy shelves. Without the tier bonus extras, there's not much pushing these figures to the price that's being asked. The only thing that makes for a good argument for the price is the lower production run, and even that isn't entirely convincing for the full $180.

 

Affiliate and international orders usually dump twice the amount that's already there to that amount, right? If anything, mine's an underestimate.

It's pretty cool to see the same designer back, I'm hoping that means he had it in mind to fix some of the flaws with the MP. Also, I think this one has the new sword hilt.

 

I just think there’s a lot of variables. Like so far I think that Victory Saber is the most obscure Haslab yet. Unicron is one of the biggest baddies in all of transformers, Sentinel and Galactus are both huge in marvel, Jabba’s Sail Barge is an iconic set in one of the biggest franchises of all time, Razor Crest was the main ship in one of the most popular shows currently. Whereas Victory Saber is a Japanese transformers protagonist. I don’t foresee it doing more than Galactus. But again, I wouldn’t be mad to be wrong, just surprised. I’ll happily eat my words!

 

I would say that while that is true, Haslab is for hyper fans of each franchise, the kind of people where Star Saber isn't obscure to them.

 

It might not convince you, but it is part of the reality. A lower production run means the price per unit is higher. That is a basic fact of manufacturing.
