The fit is a little tight and you'll need one of those spudger(sp?) thingies to take it back out. I dont plan to transform him much anyways as there has been reports of the paint chipping on the tab of the red shoulder pylons.

I just got an e-mail from Pulse that my order has been delayed with a new expected ship date of December 15th. Major bummer, I've been massively looking forward to this guy. I imagine it's due to the international shipping situation. I wonder if it's going to fly instead of try to go by boat; I've seen articles where not only are some larger ticket items with smaller profit margins being left in China to make space for smaller higher profit items, but some companies are starting to fly their shipments because the cost isn't that much greater anymore (after containers spiked in price by so much this year) and they don't have to worry about dock workers being able or the increasingly long lines to get them off the boat here in the US or the ever increasing costs to load them in China.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Black Zarak and some other exclusives take longer too.

Hasbro's own fan channel can't find stock, but Amazon AU not only has it (and it might arrive on my door-step today), but has enough of them to offer them for general sale now, not just fulfill orders from months ago (I had one on order from EB Games, which has been delayed, so I snagged one earlier this week from Amazon).

Is it usual for Hasbro to have difficulty stocking themselves?

I plan to also turn mine into Barbarian Galvatron with the Matrix Workshop toy gun and IDW Axe.

 

Ever get excited about a release and you get home from work, knowing it’s waiting for you at home? That’s how Selects Galvatron was for me. Even though I had other things in the box (including Rodimus Prime), this was the one thing I was most looking forward to. I avoided the purple Galvatron because the toy colored one was “my” Galvatron. So I opened my box of goods….




I already emailed them, and I’m sure they’ll make it right somehow, but now I’ll have to deal with the inconvenience of sending the damn thing back and waiting another week for what I’ve been waiting so long for to begin with… I know, first world problems… And yes, I did order the right one. I have another waiting in my stash. It’s the first time I had a mess up like this from TCP, so I’m not mad at them. Just annoyed that I was all excited for the first official toy colored Galvatron since the original mold.

 

Oh man, that’s an absolutely brutal mistake. I know exactly the feeling you describe. Rough day at work and I was looking forward to the Tigatron that was delivered to my house. Got home and there’s just a pick-up notice that I need to wait until tomorrow for it to arrive back at the Post Office. Not nearly as brutal as your wait now, but I feel you.

 

Wow! I already got an after-hours reply to my email. I have faith they’ll take care of it. As I said before, I wasn’t mad, just disappointed. TCP has rarely failed me, which is why they get the majority of my business.

 

I apologize for the delay, I wasn't home and got a staph infection. Anyway, I did as you suggested and Selects Galvatron arrived a few days ago from Dorkside (FedEx delivered 2 days early to boot!). Cancelled the Pulse order. Same price, months earlier.

God, I love this figure.

 

They’ll take care of you. Their customer service is great. I’ve had a similar issue like that and they made it right.

 

I wasn’t a fan of the earlier Galvatrons, but this mold and version is badass. Glad you got it earlier. Hope that infection is gone by now.

 

My replacement arrived today and they included a return label for the wrong one. He looks gorgeous! A+

 

So I was fiddling with him and transforming him back and forth in bed last night before I went to sleep and woke up to realize he was still in the bed. He’s such a fun toy and GREAT looking! I can’t wait for Toyhax to make a nice set for him. I also hope someone makes a replacement crown that’s color matched to the rest of his noggin. Already had the Nonnef stuff waiting.


I’m so tempted to get a third one just to keep in the box in case something happens to one… but I plan to have one stay clean and the other stickered and upgraded.
