F@#$ no. If anything I'm considering looking into Linux. Otherwise I'll do what I did last time. Stick with the current OS until I am forced to upgrade.

Yeah I’m not going to Linux. Not a fan of it. I’ve used Windows, OSX and Linux.

Never tried it. I don't enjoy being forced to adopt technology though. So I figured I would try an alternative before embracing whatever a giant corporation is currently schilling. Btw, that is no way any judgement of those who go to Win 11. Just how I personally feel.

Only linux I'm gonna try out is SteamOS 3.0 when the Steam Deck comes out. Other than that I stick with Windows. At least on my PC the insider builds of 11 have been perfectly stable and haven't caused any issues with gaming.

There's no forcing though, 10 is going to be supported for the next 4-5 years still, and it's a free upgrade, so it's not like they're trying to get you to pay for it at least.

There is like a new security feature that looks to drop performance by 25% in some cases I heard, I will just wait for now

That's only automatically enabled on new pre built computers, if you already have a computer and are upgrading it shouldn't turn itself on, and alternatively, you can also turn the setting off

That was my thought as well. The laptop I can upgrade and play around with the settings and all that fun stuff and at the end of it all, should I feel the need, press F8 and rebuild to Windows 10.

Well nothing pops up in Windows Update yet on my laptop. Guess I'll check again in a day or two.

I am just so sad my pc doesn't support Windows 11. I had no intention of getting it to begin with. It looks terrible.

Isn't it just utterly galling when you're put in a position of being rendered completely unable to do something that you really don't want to do...??? I mean... how dare the Universe to conspire to prevent you from doing something you so thoroughly wish to avoid?!?!?!? If I were the right gender and had the right haircut, I'd demand to speak to a manager somewhere...

The home edition requires a Microsoft account just to function, so no way. I'm sticking with Windows 10.

So tried Windows 11. Saw the 13" version had the Windows update (my 15" version didnt) so did the Windows 11 Installation Assistant app...yeah not liking Windows 11 lol.

Talk about 10 steps back when designing the Start Menu. Even with turning off the "recommend" section it still here wasting space. But loosing the tile folders (or whatever it's called) was the one that annoyed me the most.

Had a few minor gripes too:
    - Right-click cut/copy/paste options now pics instead of words.
    - Turning on/off spatial sound went from right-click icon to having to go fully into settings.
    - No way to personalize lock screen, I liked the clock on the lower right since it outta the way in the background...now its right in the middle blocking a face.

So im back to Windows 10. Maybe by the time Android apps get going they add more/fix all the complaints.

Checked my email yesterday to see a email from EVGA about the RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming card I signed up for notification of stock.

Upgrading the main PC from a GTX 2060 Super. Then swapping my older PC's GTX 660 to the GTX 2060 Super.
