The spike on the tail fin has snapped off. Fairly certain he arrived like that, and fairly certain the missing bit isn't in my house.

Now the question is what to do? UK stores are out of stock, so it's going to be a total faff to get a replacement (which could have issues too). Easy option is just live with it - he'll be in robot mode 95% of the time anyway.

Alright so I’ve been stewing on this for a few days but @Chiller pic of TC in jet mode (sorry about the broken wing btw) made me realize that I really need either a upgrade kit company, or something to make matching sets of blast effects the offerings we got were good, but none of them look good when you put them on null rays

 

Still waiting on TFSource to get it.

 

Got a response from TCP… they requested parts from Takara. Looks like I gotta fix my $240 figure. Hopefully the pins pop out easily.

 

Got my MP 52+ Thundercracker yesterday from the TCP and he is perfect. No issues from what I can tell so far. Will transform him later when I have more time.

 

Great to finally get MP-52+ Thundercracker! Straight out of box, no immediately obvious QC issues which is nice!

 

i done that to my first ever masterpiece mp03 walmart version back in 2010 , first i caught that part in my jumper while transforming the figure snapping the tip off and then i broke the nosecone opening it to see the radar dish not realising you had to slide it out first   managed to find parts for both on here luckily , was a bitch sorting the nosecone getting the screw covers off without damaging the figure and anyone that has taken mp03/mp11 apart knows they used the strongest glue know to man to glue those covers in!!

 

On closer inspection, there are a few paint blemishes, especially on the grey painted areas. But nothing overly major. No immediately obvious hairline cracks, but will have to confirm that upon transformation. Still, love the overall style and colour on this one!

 

Anyone with multiple non-52 Seekers have a Dr Arkeville they want to sell me?

 

My Thundercracker arrived from TCP on Saturday, but have only been able to unbox him today. No cracks at the tail fins, 3 correct faces, no broken/missing flaps, and it looks good so far. I will try to transform him tonight to check his ankles, but so far, so good.

 

This was put together much better than Starscream, but overall the painting was worse. Not bad by any means but a whole bunch of the little minor ones you notice during transformation. The worse on mines looks like someone tried to touch up the very end of one of the intakes.

 

On the flip side, that's better than a 'fuck off'.

There's a Dr A that comes with the older seekers?
