Was hoping you'd say the larger card, then I wouldn't have to buy it. The larger cards don't fit in my display so I could pass on the Hulk and Kingpin fugures.
Got the rest of the Eternals wave in today, they look fantastic together on the shelf. Now I just need to find Thena and for Walmart to release Ajak, which should hopefully be on Thursday or Friday. I'm at a loss with Thena, literally no Target in my entire city got her in last week and she's sold out online. Hopefully at least one gets her in by next week.
Surtur is a big boy! not sure how many more humongous figures they can make like him...Giant-Man again for the third film sure, giant Wasp if she ever does that in the films, or even the zombie version yes...but the options get slim after that... Fenris Wolf is not exactly special looking like the demon creature from Shang-Chi, but neither is a particular must-make...
I didn't realize Thena would be hard to find or else I've bought more for people here. Hopefully it eventually hits saturation like Katy did (though after the movie's release, I haven't seen her anymore).
Yeah kinda regretting not getting her, bc my Target hasn’t had her for a while. I just couldn’t bring myself to buying it before seeing what her role was in the movie
I'm in the same boat. I found one stashed behind some Shang Chi launchers yesterday morning, looked it over, said, "huh," and put it back on the peg. Had no idea there was a scarcity. Lots of Druig though. Like, a solid case of him.
Yeah I feel Katy pegwarmed until people saw the character. This will be an important thing to keep in mind with the Eternals. The majority of people even on the forum here have no real idea who any of them are, how important they are to the story, and who are going to be the popular characters. The designs themselves aren't wild enough to sell the figures on their own without that. Lets be honest, their outfits make them look more like a town of people that the SG-1 team came across than they do Superheroes. I'd imagine after the movie's released these will all disapear very quickly.

Not bad. It's nice to see them try the harness idea again and this time it looks like they did it right. Like, now it actually stays in place. The blue choice is nice. The mask without eyebrows poking through it good. The pulled back hood is a cool option but it's kind of ruined by the neck. If the hood is back then the neck should be bare skin, not blue. The shield with all it's plug holes would bother me if I didn't already have like 5 other Cap shield if I want a "clean shield" look. I wish they had given him a Jack Kirby head like the picture.
At the moment, Katy appears to be available online for below MSRP in case anyone wants her! She pegwarmed pretty hard and got clearanced out at most places by this point. I finally got one for around $6 in-store. I like the accessories, and she isn’t a bad figure. I might like her even more if I see the movie.
Yeah, there were a lot of big clearance sales when the Shang Chi wave was around - in my area, it was just to get rid of Wenwuns and that Iron Man, but in other places that was to dump the stock of Katy too. I thought that had waaaaay more to do with her vanishing off shelves than the movie release.
Interesting. So the only thing they changed on the figure appears to be the very top part of the legs. They got rid of the Liefeld-esque fabric creases.
Love it. I do wish the shield didn't have those holes in it, but whatever, it's a nice change from the norm. I do hope the strap is removable. The headsculpts are fantastic.
