If Bee does die and is brought back, that'll be twice in as many films, which kind of removes any jeopardy if it can so easily happen so often.

 

Soon the "Buzzworthy Bumblebee" subline shall be replaced with "Minimising Mirage" and we'll have lots of Mirage toys.

 

As the Gobots are now becoming new Transformers characters I could see this stone character as one of the Rock Lords from Gobots. Or this stone could be the "Titan" listing we saw a month ago.

If it’s true, that could maybe signify that Bee isn’t necessarily the focus/connection to the humans as he was in previous films?

 

Pretty much, meaning he's gonna take a backseat to Mirage evidence of this can be seen even by how few set photos we have of Bumblebee in both Montreal and Peru and how we've seen Mirage more than Bee.

 

It could also be filming order as well, and that the Bumblebee scenes are later in the movie. But either way, it would be nice to see some other Autobots take the focus rather than just Prime and Bee solely.

 

Maybe there are other Autobots on Earth?
Bumblebee is maybe absent because he's being repaired, and probably there are other Autobots too? The others are probably at their base camp waiting for Optimus and co. to return, and maybe this is where they'll encounter some Decepticons.

 

Regarding the possibility of Bumblebee dying, I actually think that's within the realm of plausibility. I mean, there's no doubt in my mind that he'll come back by the end (regardless of whether this connects to the 2007 film or not). But killing Bumblebee is something these movies have never done, and it would be a big emotional shock for audiences (especially after giving him more development in the 2018 film).

I think they filmed scenes out of order for BB and everything (every film films out of order) but I just thought it was interesting we've seen more of Mirage instead of Bumblebee. Would love for Mirage to become a new favorite amongst the general audience (also with the rest of the Autobots and Maximals) and maybe Mirage appears more in fiction.

We will know how important Bee dying or being heavily damaged to the plot of the film or in general probably by if part of it is shown in the trailer or not.

I feel like Bee dying (even if he comes back immediately) needs more proof before we consider that to be possible. If it’s just based off of some concept art of him laying dead on an altar or something, I feel like it could be a stand in for some other character, or it could just be him injured.

But if he does “die” in the movie, I can 100% see them using it as an excuse for him to come back with a different appearance and explain his Bay movie appearance, because the Transformers movies are the one movie series that apparently Hollywood doesn’t want to reboot, no matter how much it needs it.
