Of course. It never fails. I buy two KMagnus with the express interest of customizing the second into Ginrai and then HasTak busts this out. Granted, if it's armorless then I'm less peeved as then it's just me repainting the core fig when I wouldn't have had to with this one. But if down the line we get Ginrai w/trailer n armor...yeah, not pleased.

 

It's likely a new mold though due to the uniqueness of godbomber's design.

 

look, i LOVE the funny cuboid shapes of the inner bots from siege and kingdoms, but yea as an individual figure this kinda stinks cause like... the trailer covers up so much of the robot mode guff that having it released on its own really shows how... not built for standalone release this dude is.

The truck mode on galaxy prime and magnus never felt complete without its trailer cause of the super not hidden arms. its always been a part of an alt mode.... even though its a slightly larger figure than a deluxe i really hope the base bot is only deluxe priced. GalOp and Magnus do not feel like voyagers sans trailer.

If the price isnt horrible, i like the inner bot shape enough that id grab it just for that, i sold my siege magnus and cant be bothered to drop $70 on a kingdom one.

Also also, man that stand reaks. its a lame gimick that takes away from whatever its displaying. couldnt be less interested in the stand. Release a sculpture of just the tension parts with transformers theming, or just release him with a normal stand. doing both is too visually noisy

 

O...kay.  Not sure why the used Kingdom UM sans armor. Could\'ve paired anybody with the weird stand.  I mean, sure you got an earth Optimus compatible with the armor, now, so there\'s that.
If they were going to tap Magnus, you might as well keep the armor.  I would\'ve done Delta.

 

They should an accurate Power Master Prime on that mold.

 

It's already been said but I could def see this as Ginrai, especially to alongside Star Saber as another japanese autobot leader

An Optimus that is a straight repaint of the inner Magnus cab was my main checklist item to upgrade from the Classics Prime mold, looks like I won't have to chase down Magna Convoy amd United Nekkid Magnus after all...

 

It’s not Ginrai. It specifically says Optimus Prime in the image.

 

It's also not Ginrai because it has red forearms with Optimus Prime's little yellow triangles on there!

 

Maybe they can do Nemesis colors too.
