Finally got the light AND angle I wanted! (Sorry for the double-post!)

 

Nice, I grew up on those comics love the front covers. Good choice for Jetfire, imagine wfc siege Slag would be flattened!  

Work in progress upgrading Grimlock, I ditched his transparent cheat piece prefer it this way as going for cartoon accuracy (I'll keep the kbb one for toy accuracy) painted his robot and dinobot eyes the lighter blue I wanted them to be, filled in the chest holes and dino head screw holes, then cut some styrene for his missing teeth and arm covers (inspired from that upgrade kit, need to fig out some slightly longer screws in same size. Happy with him now hopefully I'll be able to colour match them later, completely forgot when I was going the putty filling to fill out Slags horns as well and instead ended up making a head for my headless g1 Siren from the leftover mix

I watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid for the first time last night the 2nd train they robbed where they had reinforced the safe from the 1st robbery, they put so much dynamite on it that I blew the whole train carriage up! Lol   absolutely pissed myself laughing money flying everywhere! Those 2 posts just reminded me of it and made me smile.

Got Slag in finally. Box was completely damaged, but I decide to get rid of the boxes not too long ago. Can't wait for more Dinobots.

Also, IDK if this was in the instructions, but I found out that you can store Grimlock's weapon on his back (sideways tho) in alt mode.

 

Finally found Slug/ Slag at a farther away Target than the one that I usually go to.

 

Because every good tracker needs his own henchmen    

 

Daniel has some range. In addition to sitting, he can cartoonishly skedaddle from hijinks!

Grimlock has been a shelfwarmer at my store for a couple of months and I pass by a few boxes every day. I'm wondering if he's worth the cost of admission. My discount would have it at maybe $45 but I'm trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger.

Do you guys like the figure?  

 

He's missing front teeth and a Sword... Get past that he's big heavy and totally G1 Grimlock. Worth every penny.
