Pre-ordered!! And stoked about it I thought Terrasaur was the perfect Starscream charactet fit/replacement. He and Megatron were definitely my favorite duo when the show was airing. I used to wait til my buddy got out of school and watch every episode with him (I was around 18-19 years old) . Good times I think I fell in love with Beast Wars because I love it when the show co-insides with the toys on shelves. And this was considered show accurate at the time and real life like articulation as a linewide theme,, was basically new for Transformers.

Does golden disc collection have a website? Cuz I saw some screenshots about chapter 1, chapter 2 .... etc. , but not the wholeparts

Just go to the Amazon page for each and scroll down to the "From the manufacturer" section, it's all there. The only one with any particularly substantial writeup for their "Chapter" is Terrorsaur.

Pre-ordered at Amazon US, even though I'm from Europe. So that means (extra) shipping and import taxes, making the total almost $ 40.

But I'm not taking the risk and gambling on local or nearby Amazon stores. Have a few too many experiences with them not getting Amazon exclusives. Listings either don't exist and sometimes they suddenly pop up as Unavailable. (Although I did get the Coneheads out of the blue.)

Although I would've preferred a new mould, I'm very happy to get Terrorsaur. Only two important Predacons still missing between the original releases and later versions, are Inferno (next year?) and Quickstrike. Well, and I'd like a new Transmetal Megatron in leader class. Would've preferred that over the upcoming Dragon version.

 

Well.. this is officially without any doubt the worst Kingdom Beast. I preordered, but wow, oh wow. I am so shocked. I wish this would've never happened! Yes, I admit, Terrorsaur from Airazor wasn't a terrible idea to begin with, but the budget restraints absolutely killed the beast mode. What an ugly pile. I stared at it for hours and this shot does not seem to be mistransformed much, besides the robot head not being fully rotated in, this is what it looks like from the top..



I mean... really? The sculpting is great, as usual but key points that should've been improved

• There does not seem to be any structural reason for the Pteranodon back+ neck to sit so high. It should have been moldet to sit at least 3 mm lower
• The wings... Don't get me started on the wings.. there are like a million things they could have done differently to make them look somewhat pointing up in bot mode. Easiest thing would have been to allow them to swivel further in, like Airazors wings. unfortunately they don't seem to be able to go past what is pictured below, due to tolerance issues in the remolding (yes I can see this)
  

With some additional budget the pteranodon head and the wings could have been designed to sit further to the front in beast mode. This is a horrible remold. I say this objectively, leaving out my personal gripes with how over-stylized I think the robot is. At least the head is closer to the CGI and less of a Rhinox disaster

What the hell is wrong with you, being apologetic to exclusives, purposefully misunderstanding the negative impact, downplaying its importance in a dedicated toy forum and ignoring everyone saying it sucks? Just because your privilege gives you a great amazon experience everytime, it doesn't mean we all get the same. How about some empathy to your fellow fans for a change?

 

I'd be happy to order it from Amazon.au, from EB Games, from The Falcon's Hanger, anywhere that will send me a product in exchange for money.

I just can't tolerate "Earth's most customer-centric company" (from Amazon.com's own mission statement) who will geoblock product seemingly without reason.

I only collect MP Transformers now, but when I say they absolutely nailed this one, I mean it. He was my favorite character in Beast Wars and they have done an excellent job. Superb.

 

I was working on my property, including felling 2 trees and cutting them up for compost and then showered and ate after dark before I checked the news, when I saw Terrorsaur was up, I was concerned that demand may have been high enough that it sold out already, glad to see that's not the case.

Pre-ordered.

Which now leaves only the Omnibots as "nostalgia" driven future purchases that haven't been announced or leaked, since I'm figuring that one entry for Deluxe Cosmos is a good Chunky G1 Minibot Cosmos.

 

So If you "pre-order" on Amazon now do they charge you immediately or when the item is due to ship - as the way they describe the price guarantee makes that a bit vague to me.

 

Terrorsaur being smaller than Dinobot was a more important part of their character dynamic and was much more prominent in their interactions (with Dinobot asserting physical dominance with his size) than Terrorsaur being bigger than Airazor. Having Dinobot be the same size as Terrorsaur just feels so wrong.

Yeah, you're right, that makes more sense. I was just thinking of how they made a few repaint packs like the Seekers & Sunstreaker clones that were two of the same mold in a set. But you're right--heck, maybe that will be a surprise exclusive at next month's PulseCon, that would actually make a lot of sense.

 

Beast mode seems little bit mistransformed so I would say real product won't be that much bad, but still, kinda disappointed...
