Flame Toys: Burn Your Money Toys.

For 400 bucks, I expect something more. Heck I think my old Maketoys Fallen looks better than this.

 

Anyone here have Furai Idw Optimus Prime/ megatron & Siege soundwave?

I'm really interested to see if they'll work together

I said so before but god damn K3's The Fallen is just... a work of art. Peak The Fallen.

 

Any idea when Rodimus will release? I paid my pre-order in full in August and expected it to ship soon. Now it's nearly October.

 

It does depend who you pre-ordered it with, as I noticed that Kapowtoys.co.uk have him listed as being in stock.

I think a lot of Flame Toys releases are some way behind. For example, I pre-ordered the Fallen in November last year and it's only just shipped this week (although seems to be delayed locally in Guangzhou).
My Megatron was ordered April 2020 and shipped Feb 2021.

Everyone is dealing with shipping issues and delays right now. I ordered my victory Leo from a US retailer and I still haven’t gotten him yet, and now the fallen in releasing. The only folks getting their flame toys stuff on time are those that paid the really high shipping and ordered directly from D4Toys. Just gotta be patient.

 

People should try googling "container ships backed up in california" to get an idea on how bad it is right now shipping wise.

 

oh yeah for sure. It’s a huge mess. It’s not just toys that are being affected either, like, it’s hard for anybody to get anything right now. I think part of what happening is that a lot of ships that used to come to LA and then work their way up the coast are now instead just going to LA and then back to Asia. Because people are ordering so much stuff, the shipping company’s have figured out they can make more money right now just dumping all their cargo in LA and make more trips, and then that leads to a massive clog in LA of ships waiting offshore and all of our stuff sitting in containers in the port while they try to get it all shipped to its final destination.

 

The Fallen was just delivered. Can’t wait to open it this evening.

 

Also arrived. Quick look, but cannot wait to unpack it after work.

 

Ok, first impressions:

I like the proportions more in hand. Shoulders are still too wide, waist too narrow and legs too spindly for The Fallen.
All issues stem from the fact that this is a Tarn remold.

Mine has super tight ankle joints.

Looks stunning with the lights on but I wished the translucent parts would come with a metallic orange coat of paint they just look too dull when not illuminated.
The K^3 Megatron did it better imho.

 

Amazon just cancelled my Rodimus preorder, right after asking me for a second extension on Monday.

 

Mine The Fallen is currently in Alaska.  

 

has the rodimus furai model been released yet? Just asking because the estimated release was may/june and I still have not heard back from the retailer I POed from

 

Quick pic. I don’t know if it was a good idea that the chain is made out of sharp metal shrapnels and completely paint the figure. Be extremely careful when handling the toy when the chain is attached.
