If anyone is still looking for the Datsun Bros, I have a used set for sale on BST thread. Looking to sell the full set together and shipping just in the US. Also have the original City Commander and Black Shadow.

 

Dunno how legit the seller is, but here's an AliExpress listing for $90ish.

 

Trading since 2019, over 1500 followers and high green ratings across all fields. Probably legit but if they're down to their last one I'd message them and ask if it's genuinely in stock before trying up funds and needing a refund. One store sold me Hexwrench then said they didn't have it in stock but continued to show with 1 left.

 

I ended up caving and buying Rushbeats from RobotToyBase because it was still cheaper than eBay. He showed up today, and I still love that mold after buying so many variants. Once Bludgeon shows up from ToyDojo, I'll have all the back catalogue releases that I either care for or could find for a reasonable price. It feels good to be caught up. The only potential purchases on the horizon are the Datsun trio if I can ever find a good deal/trade, and the Fangs of Tyranny depending on the seeker 2.0 rumors. It was fun hunting these all down, and I definitely got some good deals along the way to balance out the ones I had to pay a premium for.

 

Dunno if you got or need the DJD set but baba has listed the entire set for a pretty reasonable price, considering that Tarn and maybe 1-2 others are getting harder to find solo.

I still don't have that set myself - I never read the comics so these characters mean nothing to me. Still tempted because they do look cool and well, it's IF so you know it's good. But that's a lot of cash to drop on characters you don't know, have no attachment to.

 

I went through Taobao for about 10 figures, including the DJD. They're great figures. Alkaid just needed some shock oil on his grabby bits.

 

Got Cyclonus in to complete the trio. Joy.

Perfect hand range with those wrist ball joints, as should be for a sword wielder. Even includes an extra more angled hand too.




Wonderful and expressive wing poseability as well.









And if you don't like the armour skirt (I do) it's easy to remove from the ball joints and use as an arm guard.

Do 30D have KO. I just got the if ex 30D and it feel really like a KO.

I have 31 Tarn, and Megatron. So i know how they look like and this is just cheap.

-The plastic feel like Jinbao. They have all the color like in the promo pic. but hold it in hand it feel very cheap. Tarn have thick and sturdy plastic feel, this one feel thin
-loose and stiff. Like IF have the stiffness, but not like this. The hand can't even hold in the socket, and will fall off just by the gravity
-The print quality is bad. What is it called again ? the extra plastic mark you get when the plastic leak inbetween the mold crack ? It have it bad. Lot of the stiffness come from the.
And the base the box included is actualy feel great, soiled when touch. But the actual figure though... what happen ?

 

that sucks to hear ot really is. but the answer to your question is no their are no known KO's of that mold.

if the figure is all banged out like that. i suggest you contact your seller and ask for a replacement bot.

 

Buy from Taobao, so i not sure ship back and return the stock is viable. and most of it seem like not a missing or quality control. This is straight up about the whole metarial. What the seller gonna do ? they are not the one making it.
I also try the second one (got 2, plan to paint one red) and when i swith the hand to the holding weapon hand (which is the only hand that transformable) the result is the same. They loose, so probally not quality control type of mistake

 

well that sucks but your issues now are Taobao issues at this point then.

because most 3p sellers that have online retail stores will help you out if you received a dud. it happens from time to time. that's why we try and stress the importance of buying from an established seller.

lets say it was showz or whatever. you would at least know that a replacement torso or bot would be in the mail already.

 

don't live in the us, no established seller either.
also, this problem is not from taobao, since i got the product. So it not from the seller fault either. What i gonna report ?
This is straight up factory issue, so unless Iron Factory making a fixing part or something, i guess i stuck with this.

What i wonder is why this happen ? ok, they become cheap and use shitty metarial, that explain the loose, stiff. But what about the hand loose ? hoding the gun and it will just fall off. Not even cheap KO is this bad.

 

well there are plenty of sellers who aren't in the U.S. that offer support globally.

the first one I mentioned was showz, then you have RTB and even actionrobo. the ebay crew like HZJ and bamba and netclow. if you are across the pound there is kapwow and even robot kingdom there is even a store in Australia.

but all that is irrelevant at this point. if you got a bot that is having issue. a seller will generally help you with the issue. IF sends out replacement parts for their current figs. but it is a much easier process for your seller to initiate.

most times the stores just send you a new fig as a cost of doing business.

 

Just want to chime in: I've bought most of my IF figures from robotoybase, and Tony has been impeccable in responding to any issues I've had with figures. I had 2 issues and he was able to procure replacement parts within 2 weeks, plus he kept me updated constantly. Meanwhile, I am still waiting for a replacement part for my planet x shockwave from TCP for the last 3 months with no updates, and ShowZ Jane was never able to get me a replacement part for TFC STC-01NB after 2 months of dragging me along and saying it was shipping "soon".
