It's was a birthday gift from my son. He had bought it on amazon this past Xmas. Just do a search on amazon for "fake grass" or "artificial grass" and it should display something similar. Also, like many of you, I was able to secure Breaker from target this past Monday with the aid of popfindr, was pleasantly surprised that it worked. I was able to call the store and they actually held one for me! It was so much easier to get than when I was hunting down the Baroness!!!
Just got the ship notification for Breaker from Target. My local store has 3, but wouldn’t let me purchase one until Sunday.
Not a complaint but it kind of is, can't Hasbro get anything right? These CI figures have been a pain in the neck to get and now it looks like they'll flood the market with this release. The release that is probably the most "generic" to casual fan and has the most potential to peg-warm. It's a great release for the hard-core fans but how about 6 per store instead of 12-18. Just my thoughts anyway, and I know, it sounds foolish to rant about too many. Feast or famine with this line, never the middle ground apparently.
Got Movie Scarlett last night surprisingly shes really good i think i might replace my Scarlett with the movie one and i also realized how creepy the eyes on the original look
That's my thought/worry. The figure that is among the most-expensive and least-desirable, gets wide distribution with a bunch at every store. So it'll pegwarm, even when cut down to $30 or $25. And Hasbro will say "well we tried to improve availability, but it turns out there really isn't all that much demand for Joes". (then they'll make a super-limited run of Crimson Guards right after)
Yep, the old Joe doesn't sell trick even though true collectors are chomping at the bit for this line to have a wider release and in a much more rapid progression. I say wider release, meaning more figures made easily available, but don't flood the market to the saturation point. It's a fine line to walk but I feel like Hasbro is bi-polar, not near enough or way too much.
Movie scarlets is on a tiny peg compared to the first classified figure also the skin tone is different on the first version not sure about the variant
Is movie Scarlett missing an ear? The eyes on the original Scarlett release convinced me to buy into the line.
To be fair, it’s Target that placed the order and they did so based on the existing sales data. the good thing is Target only aims for an 80% sell through and are more than happy to clearance out the last 20%; that last 20% is free money to them when we clear out that inventory for $20-30 each.
I’m not so sure Breaker/RAM will hit clearance. While us Children of the Christmas of ‘82 welcome all our green-clad heroes with open straight-arms, others find the RAM more compelling. And of course the completionists each need one. I hope it does get clearanced, though, as I would gladly pay $20 for another bike (or two).
Anyone need a Breaker with Ram Cycle? Lol Target in Olathe Kansas off 119th has a ton! I just took this photo.
