Fair enough. I only pulled that because I thought I remembered reading in some iterations it was bionic. I personally don’t care. I like the classified figure. He’s a much more interesting looking figure than ARAH

I like the Bludd figure (though I wish he had more color; I’m sure the inevitable repaint will be better), I would have just preferred a classic armor to an updated bionic arm which just seems like a cliche update.

I didn’t mention that as a dispute to your post, simply a further discussion on the debate of whether it was armor or bionic in its original concept. I think the evidence is overwhelming in that it was always meant to be armor.

Yeah I love Bludd. Definitely competing with Beach Head for my favorites as far as Classified goes.

As much as it is beating a dead horse for me, but I actually like it when Classified veers AWAY from ARAH or original toy designs.

Modernize these guys! We don't need a high tech spec ops unit looking like it's still carrying 70s through early 90s gear. That just makes them third world conscripts, not an elite task force hunting the vicious organization Cobra.

That's why my WORST figures are HA Roadblock and upcoming Breaker. It's why I probably won't even take Breaker out of the box. I want the goddamn bike. If HA Roadblock was a regular retail I'd hard skip it so fast but I just don't wanna miss out on exclusives.

The Blackout game inspired first wave is a sweet spot for me. Maybe a bit too much sci-fi, but they're all designs that invoke classic, recognizable looks without being beholden to ARAH or toyline designs.

I'd never buy a Classified Cobra Trooper if it looked like the OG. That's a guy who was picked off the street and given a gun and told now he's a soldier. The Classified Trooper looks like a guy who's been through training to be a professional fighting force. I know who'd I want to have on my side in a firefight.

According to Popfindr, 11 of the 20 Targets in my area have a total of 155 Breakers in stock this morning. I hope this is indicative of Classified inventory going forward.

As of right now, none of the Targets within a reasonable distance have him. One that is an hour away has 13 of him. Another that is about 90 minutes away has 9 of him.

Since we've started seeing Breaker sightings pop up, this morning I decided to hit a couple of stores (both out of the way, no Target's anywhere near me). First store, no love. Second store, I debated about even stopping in b/c they never have anything, and they have this weird "modern" layout that is different than every other target store ever. Same story, absolutely nothing but a couple of dregs movie figures.

Then I see this surfer-looking scalper-y guy on his phone at the end of the isle, and he starts talking to me, but I can't hear him b/c I'm listening to a podcast. I asked him to repeat what he said, and he was asking if I was there for GIJoe. I nodded yes, and he says, "Breaker, I mean. You're here for Breaker." Oddly, it was a statement, not a question. I decided not to fight it and said, "Of course." He then proceeds to tell me that he's been tracking them all week and that they're supposed to be in today and that he was stunned that there wasn't a crowd outside at opening, etc. I responded with some inane chit-chat.

He finally found someone that could check in the back, and told the dude with great resolve that both he and I were there for Breaker, and that he knows they have them in the back. Target had cancelled his PO and he was pissed and tired of hunting, and was clearly about to lose it. Minutes later, little dude appears from the back with a Breaker in each hand and gives us both one. After talking with the guy on the way to the checkout, he's just a collector, only wanted one. But he was going to get it or bust. Hot damn.

Really glad I stumbled upon that guy. Five minutes earlier or later and I'd have just turned around and left empty-handed.

The amount of times I've been positive someone is a scalper and I hate them onlyfor their kid shows up or for them to get hyped about a toy and only buy one. Turns out it's usually me who is the asshole all along. lol lol lol.

Had a similar situation back with CI wave 1, always good to meet fellow fans that are pretty chill (though considering Target canceled his order I imagine he was somewhat frustrated too)

Man, how are y'all getting Popfindr to work? I put in the DPCI of 087168511 and get a whole bunch of nothing, even for areas where I know it's out. Am I doing it wrong?
