okay the pic recently posted had to be a prototype then. Mixmaster was lacking the translucent bits.

So it looks like the legs will more than likely be swapable. Anyone interested in trading their green Bonecrusher legs for my purple Scavenger legs? Ya know, when/if we ever get the second set.

Cool, the only difference between them (except for the color) is the shape of front of the feet.

Yup! So it looks like Scavenger's feet are notched for clearance. The person that ends up with double purples won't have any issues, presumably. I, on the other hand, may. No biggie. I'll either add notches to the new green Scavenger feet or just angle them out front...no big deal to me. No purple treads...WORTH IT! :D

finally got my first pair having to patiently wait to get a bunch of stuff together to ship as one package. no major QC issues to complain about *phew*. only some usual minor plastic flashing needing to be cleaned up and i'm finding mixmaster's feet looser than i'd like, making him hard to pose. scrapper is definitely the better of the two, especially the lower leg transformation and the way it looks better without the open stack of panels showing that mixmaster has going on. damn, mixmaster's cab/feet transformation is involved, but i think after a few tries, it'll get more intuitive. overall very impressed with this release and in line with prior figures such as perceptor, shockwave and soundwave that i have. too bad they are so big and chunky, which makes them not quite fit with the rest of my mostly NA collection. still looking forward for the rest of the crew and putting him altogether along side MS menasor.

Welcome to the party! A tiny bit of future finish will tighten the ankles on him right up. I love the stuff, I prefer most of my figures a tad stiffer than they come.

yeah, it just creates a clear coat on the plastic that you can chip off. I’ve never seized a joint.

Some people here say future can mess up/warp the plastic, so I’ve avoided it.

it's the same shit just without the perfume and not as watered down.

any waterpoly works the same as well. also, you can never over do it. you can just rinse it all off with warm water and start over. the same goes for pledge.

now for the feet i just popped them off and tossed a piece of napkin in there and it was fine.

if i have the urge or time i will heat them with a small clamp.

    @deaculpa @Creedog

i have a bottle of Future and it works okay, but i find when it wears it starts flaking which leaves a white chalky dust, which i'm not fond of.

i was considering getting either KiKi or Vallejo reducer (acrylic polyurethane) to try out and ended up getting the Vallejo because it was cheaper for a larger volume bottle. i think it works better than the Future as it drys without as much a gloss to it and so far i don't find it flakes. also seems to clean up easier and is water based.

still might get myself a bottle of KiKi as i don't seem to be able to build up Vallejo for very loose joints as each application seems to dissolve what was applied and dried before it.

I have a much higher success rate with Kiki than with Vallejo. KK is a much thicker liquid, so it doesn't drip out of joints as much as Vallejo does.

Here's how the colors compare with Newage and Toyworld v1 Constructor:

I wonder if they'd be closer to the Gravity Builder colorway, if anyone has that handy to take a photo of them with.

Quickly placed on the same shelf, no consideration for pose.

They are pretty close to GB, though GB is slightly more green tinted.

If you go to Lowe's and look at the Valspar paint swatches, it very closely matches the Green Tea. Just a hint darker.

And for fun... I like Scrapper's ability to shrug. :D
