Their shoulders are almost even, but Meteor's half-sized head makes him about half a head shorter.

I'll pop it on my to do list. With Thundercracker and Skywarp announced I need to think about accessories for them too.

If there's gonna be one, it better come with smaller null rays or extra joint pieces that can lower the current ones, looking at mine the null rays are too big and too high up and can clash with an eventual shoulder armor on it.

Anyways, transformed mine again today because I was going to apply the insignias on the wings. (Was about to put one on the nose cone too but then changed my mind since it looks like the cartoon version never had it on there.)

Transforming it was luckily not as bad as the first time around. Guess it's thanks to seeing more transformation videos that show more tricks to get around the tricky parts.

Might as well leave it in this mode for now to let more paint cure on this form.

Thank you. I will probably not switch to DS for all my three MT seekers but if DS ever do coneheads, then I will be extremely interested.

In my opinion, DS-001 doesn't scale well with Meteor. The Seekers should also all be the same size. I never liked the Meteor mold. His proportions are off. DS-001 is better in that regard. I would go for one mold for the Seekers instead of combining releases. But I guess it's all a matter of personal taste. I know people that have three different molds... for all Seekers. :D

Got mine some days ago. I was quite afraid I was going to break it during the transformation, given that I used brute force more than anything else, but this thing is built to last!

I may be in the minority, but I love the transformation. The more complex and difficult (but not unfair) it is, the more rewarding it gets. Same reason why I love MP-36 too. (Crimson Wings is the most posable and stable of the two, though, the only missing articulation is the forward/backward movement in the foot.)

So glad to have chosen this over MP-52, it's the perfect replacement to my old and sad MP-03.

    [Also, greatings from France!]

Hopefully the repaints will be more refined than the Starscream deco with respect to paint application. Also, Deformation Space doesn’t have to rush the production so they can minimize QC errors that we've seen with DS-001 like misassembled or missing parts.

As hilarious as it would be if they beat hasbro to the punch on Skywarp, I would rather they took their time with this and refined the tooling just a bit to improve tolerances (like the null rays pegging in without needing to be sanded, etc).

I would honestly like to see what this guy would feel like with no paint (aside from maybe the faces and a few of the details). I’ll betcha that would free a lot of stuff up. I think the transformation would be easier if things just weren’t so damn tight.

I really like my CW, but I've decided I'm good with just having SS in my display. 3 seekers is just too much space.

Those who have transformed him a few times: what areas should I be most concerned about paint rubbing? I’m tempted to do it again but worry I got lucky the first time.

Thanks for that, but now I'll now have Cid's theme from FF7 stuck in my head for the next week. Not necessarily bad per se, but it reminds me how disappointing the remake was. Double edged sword, really.

Terry now says the following on Skywarp and Thundercracker:

"Picture for reference only, the final colour scheme will be updated!"
