Can we have these exact colours, please?

 

DS REALLY need to work on their product launch photography!

There's actually something weird going on too - the screws on the back of TC are blue rather than silver. Painted screws or bad photoshop?

 

Skywarp should be purple!

 

Maybe it's hand painted and not final. Hope so.

Man I hope skywarp's purple. Take your time DS. Never thought about getting all 3 seekers before but this one just changed my mind.

 

It needs to be Thundercracker Blue.

hope its just the photo. skywarp's colors are flat out WRONG. purple is needed, not blue. specifically lavendarish purple - this is blue. it also looks like they are following takara's dumb ass lead and going white for thundercrackers main torso color and light grey for the intakes. at least skywarp seems to retain some grey - it should be darker though ans silverish. (both of them should be as dark as the intakes or a shade darker even and silverish). this uber toon white torso thing takara did is now ruining 3P toys. also if you're going toon...tundecracker is too dark and saturated. it should be a lighter blue. this blue is neither toy nor toon....almost as bad a choice of blue hasbro's choice for mp thundercracker (mp-11 mold with the short shorts).

also would love a yellow eye option for skywarp. would also like to know if they are planning toy decos at all. thundercracker is always cooler looking in the dark almost metallic looking blue of the toy... mp-7 got it pretty close.

if these colors are accurate this is a mini crisis. maybe i should track down a pair of maketoys thundercracker and skywarp? that way starscream will be slightly bigger too and more special. its an option though i wish DS wouldn't make me even think of it. i really won't want to comission custom painted seekers again...

 

at least they got the light blue right and the white of the torso isn't pure white like the DS "from facebook" photo.

 

Everybody messes up Thundercracker. I've conceded to the fact that nobody with make a metallic dark blue toy deco, but please just give him a silver torso like Skywarp (not white, not light blueish gray), dark chest intakes, and a proper sky blue if you are going for toon. I'd also be thrilled with black forearms and hands, screw the cartoon gray.

 

If anything both the blue and the grey are too light on the official. Would take something a little darker...

Transforming Thundercracker reminded me that, as much crap as the DS transformation gets, the MP-52 transformation is no walk in the park!

If anything Takara’s TC’s grey actually matches up with DS’s Starscream, since Takara’s Starscream is too dark a grey in comparison.

 

I wouldn't get too worked up about the color, especially a purple. Purple is notoriously difficult to photograph and have come out the appropriate hue. And although it's light, I see light gray on Thundercracker not pure white.

 

That's some good news to wake up to. Also, my Screamer is at the "Airport of DESTINATION" now. Hopefully I don't lose the QC lottery...

That is indeed very promising. Actually what DS should have done is included an extra grey piece for people to swap out to their preference.
