Mine does the same thing. I swapped legs and found the problem is with the socket, not the ball. When I looked in the socket, the nubs that hold the ball in are a little smaller than the ones on the other leg. I'm not sure how to address this in a way that will hold up to pooping the joint in place.

I would take the leg off, and inspect the ball to see if there is any access plastic flask or tiny bumps on it, which would be needed to shaved off with a hobby knife. If it looks ok, then inspect the area where the ball goes into.

 

Only found 1 today.
