I like your style! If I’m reading between the lines properly here, I purchase it under a shell corp/blind trust and then donate it to myself!? Genius!

Don't know if this has been brought up here before, but does anyone else think that the gold parts of star saber's chest look chromed in the renders? Cause honestly, I wouldn't be against chrome if it's the kind that doesn't chip easily.

Not chrome :)  it's a glossy cherry red in the renders I'm looking at.

Already felt that TT would go the exclusive TTMall route. Sometimes, JP gets the 1st, emphasis on "1st" POs (like Rodimus Convoy Kingdom) slot then gets the last release over the USA/international releases.

JP passing over SS? Heck, it was their fan vote that got the MP released. Must have been sizable. So great (?) for our JP based members but ordering from TTMall has the extra nasty JP tax tucked in for the domestic market not to mention it IS locked out to foreign CC. Either you get this through your local Pulse or local international suppliers.

If you are an non JP resident who wishes to get this via the TTMall system, you do need to pay for proxy fees, also the taped on JP sales tax and of course shipping. Just putting this out there as I used a proxy for my ER Thrust.

Great news for all SS fans evidently. IT is going to get released. Hopefully the tiers goodies get fulfilled. And the QC won't shock/suck!

I called it out when the renders were first shown off. You can see the tailfin reflecting in the gold bit on one of Saber's solo turnarounds

I would assume that if they created the grey prototype, they have scanned it and have the CAD files ready to go. Thats my opinion. Like I said earlier, they want to make this thing. Thats why I believe people are going a little bit overboard when they say the cost for design and engineering still needs to be paid for. Thats pretty much been done and paid for already. We dont know how much it is but why would it be more than the 11,000 ? Any more backers is extra miney to play with. Sure they would have to pay for additional figures to be molded and assembled, but at 3rd world country exploited cheap labor prices, how much could it really be ? If a deluxe scale figure retails for $21.99 in the US, do you really think it costs them more than 5 bucks a figure ? And the way Pulse replaces defective figures and lets you keep the bad one, I wouldnt be suprised if its even less. With that being said, Im gonna totally guess on how much one star saber will cost the factory in Vietnam to produce including parts, assembly, and the box....im gonna say literally $25 bucks if even that. Lets just say im close or somewhere in the ballpark with that figure. Pulse hits the first stretch goal and makes another million with an additional 5,000 backers. At $25 bucks a unit, thats $125,000 in production costs (excluding shipping them from Vietnam to Pulse) So they just made over a million on a stretch goal and PROBALLY spent under $150,000 to produce the extra orders beyond the required 11,000. What did they do with the other $850,000 of pure profit they made off the stretch goal ? They cant throw in an extra deluxe scale figure (a repaint/retool) that cost them a mere $5 or less ? That would cost them an additional $25,000 and they still stay with $825,000 pure profit on the first stretch goal alone. And people here attack me and call me insulting names for calling Hasbro cheap AF (not you in particular) like they are trying to be all righteous. All them people who think Hasbro aint being cheap with the stretch goals got issues. When you break down the math, it makes Pulse look cheap AF and I put that on my life. Im still backing the project though. Its all good.

Yeah this train is leaving the station and people have just under two weeks to decide if they want on or not.

It wouldn't do any good. Hiding behind opinions that are proven wrong and given step by step "for dummies" explanation can not cure this level of ignorance. Christ, all I know is, if this is what they do when they are a fan then I'm scared of the mountains of misinformation they spew when they are against a brand.
