I've missed a couple highly desired items due to their wack-ass random release schedule, so it's just part of my morning to check these listings every hour in the morning. My phone has a very short alarm tone for this because I'm a sweaty nerd that loves Transformers.

 

Thank Primus for the PULSE Membership, got mine ordered. I am not sure they made it to the 2PM opening...the AMAZON orders go fast.

 

Might have been an issue with the Pulse listing, rather than actual sold out situation.

 

LOL. Why is this set so hot? 2 repaints of Huffer I don't know. In any case, ordered from Amazon for FOLO.

 

If it's a shared store-specific exclusive, Pulse threw out a rough number that they would have like 5-10% of the U.S. production run available on Pulse?

So Amazon probably has like ~10,000-15,000 pre-order spots if Pulse had ~900.

At 5%, that means they produced 19,000 of this set. We're starting to see the "coveted" numbers info Hasbro has tried to keep under wraps.

I wonder just how expensive 3rd party really is when their numbers are even smaller than that, much smaller in most cases.

I'm not really clear on the history of that issue, but last time I posted one in the BBTS thread (because a new Big Firebird figure had just been put up for preorders on BBTS), a few users PMed me to take it down or I would get banned. I checked the site rules and didn't see anything about that subject, so I'm guessing it's one of those "unwritten rules" that neurotypical people are so fond of that are impossible for anyone else to keep track of, that get enforced as if you're somehow supposed to know psionically.

Still no additional stock added here, but do note that the inventory quantity is only -943 (meaning a total of 9 people have cancelled since it sold out this morning at -952). These cancelled quantity do not automatically get added back to stock like they do on some websites. But if you keep checking this listing, it's very likely that some number of units will become available again at some unspecified time.

Why worry if Pulse has more of these when Amazon has plenty?

 

I also have that Megatron with allspark bandolier on my sales thread if anyone is interested.

 

After last year exclusive coneheads/paradron medics/ironhide & prowl fiasco people no longer trust amazon to actually fulfill pre-orders.
It's always safer to go with Pulse

 

Missed the Pulse preorder on Puffer and Road Ranger. Did the Amazon preorder fingers crossed…
