Found the Cyberverse Thrust (x2) and repacked Skullcruncher (x4) at Grand Canyon target. 3x SS Thrusts and x3 Arks.

RED series Bee and Coronation Starscreams at Fort Apache Wal Mart.

Also found x1 each of MOTU Origins Goddess and LoP Beast Man, meaning the Stinkor/Webstor wave is in town.

Been seeing the GI Joe Classified Snake Eyes figures floating about, too, for anyone that cares.

Grand Canyon Target still has a ton of SS Thrusts (x5+ now), x3 Arks. x1 Cyberverse Skullcruncher, x2 Cyberverse Ramjets. They also have 3-4x of the weird Buzzworthy 4-pack with those first run Prime, Megatron, and Starscream figures. They have the full 7' wave of MOTU Revelations figures.

Fort Apache Wal Mart still has coronation Starscream and Bee RED figures, and a ton of the Cyberverse Swoop and Slug "crash combiners". It also has restocks of GI Joe classified Flint, Lady Jaye and Cobra Commander. They also have full stocks of MOTU Revelations Skelegod, Battle Cat and MOTU Origins Battle Armor He Man and Skeletor.

Found one 86 Wreck Gar buried in the SS Thrusts at Grand Canyon Target. Should still be there.

Usual Walmart (Sunset Ave) had nothing except R.E.D. Bee & Starscream and a singular TurboMan

Nothing of note at Grand Canyon Target. Looks like someone snagged that Wreck Gar.

Bigger restock of other stuff at Fort Apache Wal Mart. Nothing new TF wise, but found:

    1) A full run of the GI Joe Classified Snake Eyes figures (Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, Baroness) and a fresh restock of Classified Flint, Lady Jaye and Cobra Commander.
    2) New Fortnite Solo mode figures, which I wiped out.
    3) A Black Series General Lando Calrissian.
    4) One (1) of the relatively hard to find MOTU Origins Flocked Panthor. He's kind of hiding in the sea of MOTU Origins Battle Cats.
    5) A full wave of the new Ghostbusters Plasma Series, which includes Ray, Peter, Winston, Trevor, Podcast, Lucky.

    A bit of editorializing:

These new Plasma figures are turdnuggets. If you know me personally, I'm pretty lenient with figures. I can enjoy a toy even if there are things I don't like about them. There's little to like about these new Plasma figures.

If you haven't collected any, they're technically 6" scale figures but they actually weigh in at 5" scale - Bill Murray is 6'2" but the first run Venkman and the old Venkman are shorter than some of the smaller Power Rangers Lightning, Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black Series figures. There's not much excuse for that because they come at the same price point as other 6" figures and Power Rangers stuff in particular is noted for being weighty with lots of accessories.

The new ones are especially egregious. Weak articulation (no ankle tilts/swivels) on the kid figures. Unfortunate face/head sculpts - Trevor looks like someone designed him using the Dana Barrett model at 4:30PM on a Friday. As a final note, i don't know who was asleep at the stick at Hasbro, but whose idea was it to give ANY figure "melted marshmallow" effects?

    Just... just no.

Yeah the plasma figures look pretty bad, given how many times the movie were delayed you’d think hasbro could have come up with something better. Did they loose that photo real tech or something?

It's a mystery to me, honestly. The face tech on the Black Series and Marvel series varies, but lately has been skewing more accurate than not, as far as I can tell. The Joe Classifieds have /awesome/ face sculpts, but I think they're pure CG modeled save for the Snake Eyes figures. Power Rangers in particular is hit and miss. Sometimes they look great, but sometimes they're awful. For example, someone "fixed" the pink ranger, and it really underlines that the old sculpt looks like her parents huffed glue throughout the pregnancy:

If I had to guess, with Marvel and Black series, they have a massive amount of material to work from due to all the CG scans of the actors necessary to do those movies. Classified is pure CG for the most part, so no translation issues there.

Power Rangers tends to rely more on practical effects and the older series have no scans whatsoever. That explains the horrible face sculpts. The same may be true with the Plasma series. Yes, there's a ton of CG, but the actors in particular aren't flying about in space shooting lasers at the Angriest California Raisin, hence the mangled face sculpts.

Sorry, I couldn’t help it. But yeah there are just some faces that they cannot get right and others the get dead on. It’s bad when your face sculpts in 2021 are just as bad as the ones from 2016. Seriously, look at some of the civil war ML head sculpts.

Another thing, I’ve seen people complain about the ss86 Perceptor face sculpt

but while at the 86 movie screening yesterday, I noticed something...

Perceptor has the facial structure of a potato and hasbro nailed his likeness.

The pop shack has the two new amazon packs and siege omega. Idk why you would buy overpriced two packs while they are still in stock, (get them while they last). But I figured someone might be looking for omega.

Perceptor's face is a lightning rod for controversy for some reason. One of the first ever big critical fails FansToys had was their Perceptor's face. Doesn't help that Transformers never stay on model and the face can change from shot to shot, so honestly whatever. Should have just given him his toy's faceplate and called it done.

Also, forgot to mention that Grand Canyon Target got another refresh of the Cyberverse 4 pack and more Energon Armor Thrusts for anyone looking for those. There's also still a massive pile of those 2-bot combiner things at Fort Apache Wal Mart.

I’m unfamiliar with 3p stuff so I had to look it up and man did the first version have some luscious lips, 2.0 does look better. With all the toy accuracy in s2 I’m surprised that perceptor didn’t just get a faceplate.

You likely have the oft-inscrutable, often insane Mr. Floro Dery for that I'm sure.

Found a SS Jolt and whatever iteration of Bumblebee he's packed with at Fort Apache Wal Mart. I bought it, but he's in Wal Mart apparently.

Not pictured in the GC Target photo are the three Arks that never move.

GC Target had other non-TF new/restocks, too. MOTU Revelations Faker, and JW/JP Apatosaurus and Amber Collection Baby Tyrannosaurus.

As an aside, whatever anyone has to say about the cartoon, the MOTU Revelations figures are just as good if not better in some ways than the old Matty/Super7 figures. I've had Evil Lyn on my desk for months and she looks great.

Also: sucks that Nimrod is packaged with that loser Fantomex and Betsy "Hot Garbage" Braddock. Would have loved to add him on his own to the 90's X-Men display I have with the Haslab Sentinel.

Thanks to Protectron and Arnhide for tipping me off! I got the last sharkticon and picked up that Jazz. I was on the fence about him but he looks great.
