Brilliant. I didn't realize the barrel could rotate. Thanks!

I have a similar kind of sprue mark on his waist unfortunately which is harder to hide. I think this material is just very prone to it due to the way its surface finish is. The sprue marks kind of look like dry skin. I wonder if a touch of gear oil would help reduce their appearance.

In taking him back out to rotate the barrel, I noticed the ankle joints are extremely floppy, saved only by their running up against the lower legs to keep them generally at a level angle so he can stand.

I have the same floppy issue, but only one ankle each on both figures. It doesn't really seem to hinder posing...yet. Fortunately, so far, my set only seem to have that one easily hidden mark. But if it's such a common issue, I expect to see more of it on the other four figures.

Definitely feel like NA got them on the seekers.

My left ankle was a bit slippy. Nothing future finish couldn’t handle. Ready to buy a second set…

The head of Scrapper and Mixmaster are bigger than the one of Motormaster. And with their buff bodies they look huge even if they're not taller than other figures.

As my display is for the biggest part Newage they won't do for my Constructicons, but maybe they'll be Devastator.

Always thought Grapple was the same height as Optimus Prime. Hoist being a little bit smaller, even a little bit smaller than Trailbreaker. Optimus Prime being taller than the Constructicons, about Hoist height would be my preference. I'll keep dreaming till Newage proves me wrong or which ever Grapple, Hoist and Trailbreaker I get.

MFT Grapple is same height as MST OP, roughly.

Got the first two-pack opened today. Haven't transformed them yet but they seem... okay? Bigger than I'd like, I wish they were like a head or two shorter. But I guess MS stuff has been increasing in size lately. And I wish their color were more vibrant, but I guess that's a limitation of the nylon plastic. And yeah, a little loose here and there.

Still, very nice sculpts, especially on Scrapper, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the other sets turn out.

I've been collecting MS and NA stuff side-by-side, but this is the first character where I've pretty much decided to go with only MS. I love the colors and animation look of the NA figures, but that free-standing Devastator torso is just unforgivable to me (though I will likely end up grudgingly picking it up when a Shattered Glass version is released).

Not to bash on good brother @gaseous clay, but in that picture they all appear a bit wonky and not fully tabbed in (around their torso area at least).

I have no intention to get into the 'MST vs NA Seekers' topic, but those figures are meant to look a little cleaner than that.

Well, in fairness, I was on my way out to grab lunch, so I just grabbed them from the shelf and snapped a quick pic. But heh, TIL the side panels on the MS seekers tab in! It looks like I have a mis-assembly on the right side panel of Starscream, so both side panels are slotted, instead of one side having a slot and the other a tab to plug into the sides of the nose cones. But yeah, 1) I got the coneheads before I got the original seekers, which don't seem to tab together, and 2) since Starscream was the first one I would've tinkered with, I guess I saw the slot going to a slot and figured there was no tabbing on going on the original seekers trio either. But yeah, Thundercracker and Skywarp are just fine I've gotten the side panels tabbed into the nose cone halves, but Starscream unfortunately can only tab in his left side panel. You learn something new every day!

While I think the figure’s sculpt and proportions look great. There is something about the colors that make it look unfinished and prototype like.

I was talking about the completed Devy pic.

as of Seekers, I believe they are one of MS’s worst looking figures. Them, Sideswipe and the Bee mold. Beyond that everything else MS has made is really good.

Yeah, I like both NA and MS Bumblebees, but IMPO the Magic Square one turned out better after having both in hand for a few months.
The giant feet and fake chests feel like too big a sacrifice for toon accuracy.

And both companies should have given Cliffjumper his own engineering rather than almost cutting and pasting their BB designs.

all the MS Devy pics are basically early-ish stage. The only 2 completed are of course Scrapper/Mixmaster. To my knowledge, none of the known MS Devy pics/renders even show finished Scrapper/Mixmaster with their paint/color apps or the translucent Mixmaster windows.

Sideswipe his head is awful, his design is ok, except for the loose leg parts. I like MS Bee, but his head sculpt could've been better (again..), Cliffy should've gotten his own design and his head sculpt... Almost didn't buy him because of his gnarly face.
