It has better articulation too. I especially like that spring loaded panel on the calf to hide the second knee joint.

 

Yeah... That was a concern of mine when the grey mold was revealed, hopefully the spring ends will be blunted or something.

 

Noticed that too. Looking at it, it seems like it could be something that keeps those guns at the end of the wing for helicopter mode yellow.

I'd have to assume it's generally like 80/20 in favor of people who would choose bot mode accuracy over alt mode, so hopefully it is fixed for the release.

Looks like the shoulder part is two pieces, just paint the back piece green, that would be good enough for me. that way they don't need to mess with anything at the factory just change the paint color.

 

Looking at all the good looking Springers out there we've been provided a color chart showing exactly which color comes from where based off the Sunbow model sheets. But you're probably the first one to point out that Springer normally has the yellow only on the front of his shoulders and the sides and back of the shoulders are green. Good catch that Virtus seems to have the yellow going all the way around. Kind of like what I've sketched below?
@Grifter Prime any chance to change up the limits of the yellow on the shoulders at this point?

 

The little thruster thing is also green, but it's colored yellow on Virtus.

The all yellow shoulder pads aren't ideal but let's be happy 99% of the rest of the colors look good now. Besides, if we demand they repaint them it could take another 3-4 months to release him!  

You also have the option if it really bothers you that much you could paint it yourself.
