That would've been perfect for Cliffjumper R.I.P.

 

The shade of yellow seems so bright in this photo, that it's almost fluorescent. And it feels like we're exhausting the possible variations of camaro Bumblebee. If this ain't the absolute polar opposite, in spirit, of what Bumblebee started as, when he was a Volkswagen beetle, and Budianski characterized him as a little autobot scout, I don't know what is. That said, for what it is, it's niiiice.

 

A very awesome off-road vehicle mode for Bumblebee! I like the way this is modified, reminds me of Shatter

 

Yeah,I must admit, this 'new' Bumblebee seems a little unnecessary. I know it's meant to be because of being out in the Peruvian jungle, but then Mirage is there without any mods. I guess it's part of the compulsory upgrade and at least one rescan they feel every movie Bumblebee should have, plus twice as many Bumblebee toys to sell...

It's kind of ironic that he's ended up with a similar alt mode the Shatter. Knight wanted Bumblebee to be 'soft and cuddly' with at the rounded lines etc. and the off-road vehicles for Shatter and Dropkick were an aggressive counterpoint to this. Clearly in the seven years between, Bumblebee has turned into a double-hard bastard.

Er, I don't think the car's so rare that they wouldn't be able to find another even if that were the case. I mean they found this one to apply all the mods to...

 

At this point, what even is the point of calling this character Bumblebee? I mean he's yellow... That's where the similarities end. But oh well...

 

I don't mind him being a Camaro per se (the 74 and 67 models are my favourite Bayverse designs of his, maybe because they're a little different in robot mode) but this just looks like they've literally taken the mods off of Shatter and stuck them on him.

 

But Montreal's being used as a stand-in for other locations. The 'Maximal Cave' entrance looks very much like it belongs in South America.

 

This new alternate mode for Bumblebee does remind me a little of Classic Pretender Bumblebee, because of the off-road tires.

 

Wow, Bumblebee looks and sounds great. Look forward to seeing that in action.

I was going to say just about the same thing, but it involved robots having off spring...

 

Also, as far as classic cars go, that one isn't too rare so I'd be shocked if they had any issues getting it.

 

Is anybody gonna comment that wheeljack is in the movie, and probably won\'t be an absolute horrorshow? No? Just me? Ok

The thing that got me is that Wheeljack's in the movie. Did anyone hear if he's still largely faithful to his G1 design in robot mode like in the Bumblebee movie?

 

Dropkick is Bumblebee and Shatter's son.

 

I would assume so since both Prime and Arcee who both appeared in BB have their g1 looking robot modes in this movie.

 

I hope we get an SS toy of that, it will go with Shatter and Dropkick nicely.

 

The car looks great, but I would\'ve preferred a more yellow-orangish color. 

 

I just hope this new bilumvlebee has a remold to joyride
