A stupid shower-thought: Spike Witwicky from G1 really looks like Amuro Ray (the protagonist from the original Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 anime, and Char's Counterattack movie)



If such things as a Transformers X Gundam collaboration ever happened, I can ironically see HasTak doing something as ridiculous as revealing Spike Witwicky (And all of the Witwicky family) to be Amuro Ray’s ancestor.

 

That is a rather uncanny resemblance.

 

I'd love to see the shoulder cannon make a reappearance. G2 Megatron looks amazing with that, in both modes.

 

So in Shattered Glass, Unicron reformats Optimus Prime into Nova Prime, and I don't know why, but I really dig it. I kinda want to see a regular version of Optimus be upgraded into a (heroic) Nova Prime, especially if it was done in like a super over-the-top anime-style series or something. Actually, thinking about it, Nova Prime sounds kinda like a Westernized version of Star Convoy, so maybe you could fold some of that into it.

 

Holy cow, did the French resurrect Charles Martel through occult means?

I can't recall Optimus ever had his own new title in Western media, like Megatron had Galvatron, so I'm really game for an upgrade in the vein of the first pic. The white-black-yellow color scheme looks amazing and Nova Prime always was a cool title.

anyone else remember that time optimus prime told omega supreme to turn off his speech impediment and "talk like a normal autobot" while he told his tragic backstory??? and the madlad actually did it, he turned off his speech impediment for his tragic backstory and turned it back on when he was done. lmao wtf???

 

for some reason, the horror-like image of a terrified bot being cornered by the many incarnations of wreck-gar in a zombie like fashion and them chanting "dare to be stupid" as they close in, came to me the other day.

also this idea i had, based on the remembering slugfest and overkill are cool and often overlooked. basically after always getting crap from the other cons, they load up on nucleon and end up super reformatted into bigger beastlier versions of themselves, sorta dinobot-like, and just rampage through the other cons for vengeance.

 

Yeah I ... I don't ... I just .. I. WTF

 

I actually just found this out this week but the writer for that episode actually wasn't aware that Omega was suppose to have a speech impediment. So story editors added in Prime's "talk like a normal Autobot" extremely late in the production of the episode to make the backstory section work.

What's funny is that the writer of that episode, David Wise, actually wrote at least half of the episode Omega appeared in in the cartoon, he just never liked the guy.

That scene in "Dinobot Island Part II" where the Volcano starts becoming active, so Prime orders some Autobots to put on jetpacks and head to the island...he just totally leaves Chip and Sparkplug there while the volcano is erupting.

 

Megatron should really get back into the groove of being stuff other than a Tank again, if anything so we can get creative designs for him that aren't just "G1 gun Megatron with tank treads strapped on".

 

Seems to be a thing. The Ultra Magnus shuttle crew totally bailed on Daniel on Junkion in the 86 movie, including Arcee of all bots, when the heat got too hot to stay and hold his hand.  .

Ultra Magnus also bailed on everyone once they leave Junkion but that's an entirely different "I can't deal with that" situation. Lol

 

Damn that's wicked! I'd buy that in a heartbeat. G1 Megatron's design is so awkward looking to begin with so having that be the starting point puts the creators immediately at a disadvantage if they try to replicate that look into an alt mode.

 

I've said before the A-10 Warthog would make an excellent Megs since it was quite literally designed as a BFG first and a plane second, and happens to essentially look like a flying tank. Naturally TheAmazingSpino has already made my dreams come true and designed a masterpiece of a Megatron with that very alt-mode. What an artistic visionary, that madlad.

Wasn't Magnus aboard the Junkion ship with Perceptor while the rest of the characters were on the Quintesson ship though?

 

Well, you assume so since you see him at the very end for the Till All Are One scene. But once he's repaired and brought back online and they leave, he's literally ghost until the end.  .
