This happened with my earth mode Mirage right out of the box.

Amazon is going to replace it but when the new set arrives Im considering selling it in favor of keeping Siege Mirage. At least Siege can attach the missile launcher properly and I can get earth style reprolabels.

Probably my biggest freakout over a break was when I discovered that 1 of the clips on one of the tower halves of my Grand Maximus broke. The tower will still clip in place with just 1 of the 2 clips. But it really bummed me out.

If you bought any of the first round of Star Wars Crossover Transformers, you know they just disintegrate into tiny chunks of broken plastic.

My poor Luke X-Wing. I picked it up and moved the arm, the arm broke off. I tried to glue it, the rest broke. Then the wings broke, and after that the legs. All of the plastic had turned into brittle garbage.

The Millennium Falcon plastic all yellowed except for the front hinge and one part on the back. When it was all new, everything matched. I took it apart and found that all the Chewie parts suffered GPS. Any movement at all caused the piece to shatter.

Darth Vader's Tie can fit together, but he can't be Darth anymore. The hips are gone.

It is insane that these toys were made with plastics that simply disintegrate across the board. It doesn't matter if it is clear plastic, white plastic, gray plastic, it all just turns to powder.

The bottom of the fake spoiler on his chest. The bottom part with the tab broke off.

Earthrise Bluestreak, broke the blasted barrel of the rifle taking it out of the plastic tray in the package. Promptly went back to walgreens and bought a second. A few days later I did repair the break nicely with some super glue. Cant even tell it happened.

Those plastic trays are menacing. I vastly prefer the cardboard trays and paper cord ties used in Kingdom. Never had any anxiety over possibly breaking something un-wedging it from a plastic tray. Never had anything like Siege Springer's swords being warped as hell, either.

Hi guys any effective fix for broken tab/clip in SS-32 Optimus Prime?
I applied super glue then it got broken again after transforming back from truck to bot mode
    then re-applied super glue again.

Im wondering why they design that tab to hold the front cab of the truck?
I think they should've gone using a insert tab rather than clipping tab.
How can you open such front grill panel with a claw of that clip with stressing the areas involved?

Hailstorm, from 2010. I worried about his gold plastic knees and treads for years. Turns out what I should have worried about was me hooning him off the table so he smashed one of his fiddley, matchstick-thin ankles on my electric piano stand. I made one attempt at gluing it back together, which predictably just resulted it falling off again and leaving one of the hinges permanently stuck. Not pleased- you don't get too many realistic mobile missile battery dudes. I have a vague plan for replacing the whole ankle assembly with something hacked together out of plastic coated paperclips. Trouble is, extracting the pins to amputate all the wreckage is beyond me.

It's fixed now, but a couple weeks ago, I was transforming MP-52 Starscream into jet mode, and the entire right wing assembly broke off in my hand. That was a fun feeling having that happen. Thank God for DAP Rapid Fuse.
