I just moved down here too. I’ve been to most targets in the area. Nothing really new. Walmarts aren’t much better. Hard to say what’s reliable…just gotta check the shelves regularly I guess

 

Target in The Colony on Josey/Main and SRT had 1 MPM Bee Prime.

 

Midlothian Walmart has lots of stuff!

Many Bumblebee Thrust and some SS86 Wreck-Gar. Saw one Jolt.

Kingdom Shadow Panther and Waspinator, at least two of each. One Tracks.

For GI Joe, lots of HISS III tanks. Tons of Grunt and Cobra Troopers with a sprinkling of Stalkers. Saw a Classified Lady Jaye & Cobra Commander, didn't look too close so not sure if Flint was there.

Target. Its a target clearance tag. Funny thing is it's not on clearance at all targets

 

Yeah, this is the stuff that was happening with the MPM Starscreams. Some stores had him for full price and others had him for as low as $40

 

I tried to get an mpm prime on clearance this morning by showing an employee that pic and she said she couldn't do it cuz they weren't given the ok to do so yet

 

I know where there currently is an MPM in store but as of a couple days ago it was not on clearance.

 

the clearance is per store - so they're not going to price match between stores either.

 

The Hunt for MPM on sale brings me back terrifying memories of Ross Hunting....never found a thing..
Meanwhile Target in Westheimer Parkway/99 told me that No Slug is scheduled to restock anytime soon....why there is always something that people can't find? Going crazy for Ecto 1, Turtles Party Wagon, TFs, Neca...i mean why can't they just produce more? Aren't these business model creating scalpers and KOers? Thank you for listening to my rant..

 

Bay Area Target had MPM Prime but he didn't scan up on clearance. I want to say more about "what-ifs" and "to-checks" but I feel it would just drive people crazier.

Galveston Target has 2 Origins BB, 1 Worlds Collide and 4 of the movie deluxe 2-packs I didn't even bother looking at.

Have seen several more SS Thrust the past week so I'm hoping more fans have gotten their hands on SS Wreck-gar. No luck with any Gnaws. Still mad at how Walmart purposefully screwed up their app so I can't price check anymore. The handful of "G1" Headmasters I saw for $14.90 last week have disappeared.

If just ranting then rant away. If you want some answer-reasoning that's not COVID I can give my 2 cents.

 

Better to under produce than over produce. Supply Chain Logistics is a tough job, did it for 5 years.

I also think most of the issues are distribution related and that's not necessarily on the suppliers. Target and Walmart could be allocating things incorrectly. I'm sure there's some algorithms at work trying to effectively stock items with as little days in inventory as possible. That's why ordering online is clutch, even at a slight premium.

 

Glade rd target off 121 has 4 mpm12, 2 wingfinger, 4 bb thrusts, a ss86 jazz, and the new cyberverse and tiny turbos

 

I disagree on the distributors, and agree on the supply chain. There are shelf warmers, many, they even warm shelves at Ross. So yes it is a problem of supply and demand. Not sure why some items are wildly available some other are rare, most are made of same plastic, in similar quantities. My point is, some items may be deliberately rare, for some Hype reasons maybe..
