Anyone have a pic of how Megatron’s alt mode actually looks like in the comic? I was curious, but can’t seem to find one.
I don't think we've seen it yet. There's only one issue out and he wasn't in it, and I don't think he transformed in the preview for issue two.
Ewww...no thanks. Ill keep my SG Megatron actually looking like Megatron. I dont need him looking like a Unicron Trilogy homage to Galvatron just because Funpub had limited choices back in 2008. Im very pleased with the direction this new SG is going, with ZERO repurposing from other continuities. That comic that came with SG Blurr was dope AF, like it could have been part of the Sunbow cartoon. On a side note, how much you guys wanna bet SG Rodimus is going to use the Commander class mold instead of the Hot Rod mold ? Im cool with that. After all, his name is Rodimus right ? Might as well give him his trailer and pay homage to Rodimus Unicronus who himself was a homage to Fansproject Shadow Scythe. Watch...Im calling it.
Still looks like a flatfish. But now he looks like a biolumonescant flatfish. Ew. Would have been so much better if Hasbro didn't limit themselves to doing SG characters as simple redecoes of G1 characters. Funpub had the right idea mixing things up. They should have prepared an Energon Megatron mold to retool into SG Megatron.
Edit/update These are like 15-17 or so. For around 20 you can get similar kits with more pieces they don’t light up granted but their still cool. Just thought I’d let people know. Also i don’t pose In vehicle mode so I don’t care about it being weak or weird looking I just like the bot design.
Looking at the various kits on ebay and nobody offers the one thing I\'d actually buy, which is something to cover his thighs in jet mode. That\'s my biggest gripe with this SG Megs.
i saw that and didn't understand the reference. now that I look at the original SG Megs, that makes sense. Thanks.
That looks rather nice and if I'm seeing it correctly it's a purely additive kit; just what I like. I may very well end up picking this up as it hits me right in the same vein a lot of those Matrix Workshop kits do.
