"I had a fun time with it, no alcohol required" Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 36% - "Red Notice's big budget and A-list cast add up to a slickly competent action comedy whose gaudy ingredients only make the middling results more disappointing." Metacritic Score: 37 out of 100
I thought it was fun. Half the time I'm making the joke "because f*** it, it's Lupin!!" Since half of the movie felt like it was a pitch for an American live action Lupin the Third film.
It was okay. Fun enough to not turn it off in the middle. About on the same level as that Zack Snyder zombie Las Vegas movie that came out not long ago.
I watched this over the weekend and I don't even remember anything worth discussing. Except Gal Gadot. I mean, wow, she is so gorgeous.......
I saw the preview snippet on Netflix, but it didn't interest me in the slightest. Didn't look funny at all. I might be the only one, but Ryan Reynolds annoys me unless he's in a Deadpool suit.
You’re not the only one. My mom only likes him in The Proposal but she enjoys the supporting cast of the movie. It’s a good time waster of a movie but it’s not great cinema. The leads charisma makes it watchable.
Because he's playing Deadpool in every single movie he appears. There's zero difference in his performance. So there's a mental disconnect if he isn't wearing the suit. Reynolds has pretty much been typecast at this point. He only gets hired to play this one character over and over, and I think he's trying to get as many movies in as he can before everyone gets tired of it and he's never hired again for the rest of his life.
