Well there is always the possibility of doing a US version. I can see people owning the base model and the extra and display whichever headmaster +body/transector they prefer while still having Fort Max's head on.

Would like to see how well Hannibal scales with the Maketoys MP Headmasters

 

Maybe they’ll do the subscription build a fig model or just sell the head and you “Make your own Maximus”. You heard it here first folks.

 

Anybody know why Omegalock was only offering the deposit option and not full payment? Is this a reaction to last year when they had to ask people to pay extra to cover price increases?

Always been a huge Fort Max fan but for my G1 MP collection I'd want a Cerebros and Spike combo so this version face and colour wise isn't for me. Aside from that at that head price I can't see many affording the body.

Hugely disappointed in Omegalock/TFS Express in locking purchases behind a membership paywall - one with caveats to stop any cancellations - so they may well lose future business from me.

Hopefully MMC will have news of their IDW Fort Max soon though.

I've mentioned this in the past (although I'm not sure if on this thread), but PO price in China is expected to be 4xxx (confirmed to me by one store some time ago, but obviously it may change, although I don't think so). It means that international price will probably be around 1200 USD using the usual conversion rate.

 

More precisely on the estimation - Chinese Taobao PO price 4000 Yuan (618 USD) - 5000 Yuan (773 USD), International price 1250 USD-1550 USD.

 

So...who's buying 3 for all modes?

 

For that price range, sections is the only practical way. At that price, you are essentially marketing to 1/4 to 1/3rd high end statue people.

 

You could say the same about haslab unicron or the new voltron but they were bought. Just start saving now

 

There is a certain threshhold people may be uncomfortable crossing. I got Unicron at 850. I think 1,000 is a Rubicon I don't want to cross.

And in the case of Unicron (the most I ever spent on a collectible) I had the cushion of a 'Thanks for not quitting your job in a rage during the pandemic' bonus.
