He does, the sword looks like it can store on his back in robot mode too.

Tank mode looks pretty good.

I think I’ve accepted the fact that most of the time triple changers are going to have one mode that is worse than the others.

The only one I can think of that ha avoided this is Springer, and that’s on behalf of him being more cybertronian I’d imagine.
I just hope they manage to give octane a good figure once they eventually get to him, it’s been too long.

It's tough to make all 3 modes work out.

He's no worse than the G1 figure, but I'll need to see a comparison vid of him vs the TR version to pull the trigger.

 

I can easily accept double wings and a turret sticking out of the bottom of the jet if everything else looks good.

Can someone please enlighten me? Are we still getting a new voyager G1 Ratchet in Studio Series or is that only the Bayverse character?

Agreed. I always liked the turret on the bottom of the G1 plane mode. Felt WWII like, similar to the name Blitzwing. Also felt right for the character, though nowhere near as much as it does for the TFA version!

Not surprised at Blitzwing having a compromised jet mode, I mean he's a triple changer and they can't get the pure jet formers to have good looking jet modes from any angle other than the top

 

This is why I wish they were still willing to do re-imaginings in some cases. If they still were, we might have had a chance of getting more figures like Thrilling 30 Springer and Sandstorm.

 

Hmm… I’d be down for that. In my opinion as long as the triple changers are still triple changers than I’m all good with that. That being said we got Springer reimagined in the same like as Blitzwing reimagined… and well, one was definitely better than the other.

See, without the oxford comma, I just assumed that comma was supposed to be a semicolon.

 

I generally do use the Oxford comma, and was indeed meaning to use a semicolon or a hyphen before listing the guns/blasters.

Anyway we're all on the same page now  

 

It's also very charater-specific kibble. So, while it may not be aerodynamic or realistic, it is has it's charm because it is such a recognizable part of the character.

So... Anyone know whether we are getting a new G1 voyager Ratchet or not?

Glad to hear that, seems like a very interesting figure. A good G1 Blitzwing is something I've been waiting for ever since the WfC trilogy started.
Speaking of which, have you per chance seen alt modes of the upcoming TF6 deluxes? I'm curious if they'll try to emulate the style of Siege.

 

I doubt it. My guess is they’ll use the bumblebee movie designs.
