Yeah, seeing all the AoA figures together there shows we're in need of some more villains. Funny thing is, recalling AoA comic wise...I feel like most of the memorable characters, were the heroes. I mean villains wise all I can think of "essential" now is Mr. Sinister, Holocaust (Nemesis), Abyss, and maybe Havok? Hero wise though, I'd still like to see Nightcrawler, Gambit, Storm, Dazzler, and Bishop
There seems to be enough there for one wave a BaF and maybe a deluxe figure and then some. Did Apocalypse have any troops in AoA something that they could make into a decent troop builder figure?
BAF Holocaust with Nightcrawler, Storm, Gambit, Dazzler, Bishop, Havok and Mr. Sinister, the a deluxe Abyss alongside it maybe. I could definitely see them doing a third wave, they're so close to finishing the main lineup already. Incidentally, not sure if anyone else ever has this feeling, but I have zero attachment to AOA and yet I've still been very tempted to pick up all the figures just because it would make a good looking and mostly complete display. Just something appealing about having a complete lineup after just 2 waves and a deluxe figure, even if you don't care about the storyline or characters itself.
Ive just started the Mutant Massacre crossover event on my task of reading all the XMen comics chronologically from the start. Trying to decide if I should go ahead and pick up the AoA waves or wait and see if I really like the characters/story.
Hopefully, but not necessarily. The only similar experience that I’ve had was with Kingdom Cyclonus earlier this year. I preordered one from Pulse once he was first announced, then later saw him pop up months early on Gamestop and ordered there as well (I still kept the Pulse order to give to a friend). The Gamestop order shipped not long after, but the Pulse order stuck with its original date months later. But as a lot of folks on here have pointed out, the whole big shipping container issue may throw everything out of wack this time around, so who knows.
That's me, kinda I had one or two AoA comics but I wanted more, just never managed to get them. I did just order the TPB vol. 1 and will get 2 and 3 later on.
That could work as a two pack... Looking on the Marvel comics database it seems there are two members. So maybe the guy in black is in a normal wave the the two pack is two of the red robed dude.
I didn't realize that Iron Monger was going to be as big as he is. He's a big fun figure and the Obidiah figure looks great next to Tony.
I know they have a lot of sentinels to ship, but we’re several weeks in now…hoping my notice finally comes next week.
Got in the carol/pepper 2pack...not sure rescue is much of an improvement over the previous one but the added extras are appreciated to create unhelmeted looks...wish there were instructions on. How those satellite laser triangle things are supposed to attach .. Carol had a dot of paint on her forehead that thankfully wiped off...funny I never realized whe watching endgame that she had an entirely different color scheme...
