What was wrong with the orange armor? Oh yeah, DC gotta be DC and not allow colors or fun. Well I guess it doesn't matter because unless they remove Amber Heard from the film, I won't be watching it.
AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM Rounds Out Cast With Randall Park, Indya Moore, Jani Zhao & Vincent Regan Randall Park (Ant-Man and the Wasp; WandaVision) is confirmed to return, reprising his role as Dr. Stephen Shin from the first installment. Moore plays the DC Comics character Karshon, a tiger shark with telepathic abilities. Vincent Regan stars as Atlan, the ancient ruler of Atlantis. He takes over from Graham McTavish, who played Atlan in the first film. Jani Zhao plays an original character created for the movie named Stingray, but it's unclear whether she'll be a friend or foe. Another sharkman joins the DCEU. Maybe they'll meet and chill or fight.
Amber Heard Hits Jason Momoa Mamoa also just posted an instagram video about an injury and the doctor coming to check on his eye.
That's a pretty dicey source. I think we should wait until a more reputable outlet reports on it before worrying too much.
You can go watch the instagram video Mamoa posted, he himself confirms the eye injury. I'm sure more details will come out later.
I've never heard of a prop weapon having a "safety tip." The first obvious question is, wouldn't that show on camera? Or at least require expensive post production to remove? It makes a lot more sense to just build a blunted, hard rubber version of the prop for actors to fight with instead. I've seen a lot of those in my life.
There's still a small part of me hoping this in-universe Lost Kingdom is somehow confirmed as the DCEU version of Skartaris.
Well, Aquaman's mom was found at the Hidden Sea region, which was based on Skartaris. So maybe the Lost Kingdom will be another name.
I like the second suits helmet with the first suit body armor. First suit body armor makes sense since he is a human, second suits looks like slight padding if he was a metahuman.
Apparently they have had to stop the Australia part of the shoot and relocate filming due to Amber Herd's Visa status being on shakey ground there because the government is still considering prosecuting or fining her for when she snuck her dogs into to country several years back. At the time they gave her a wrist slap and went light on her after she blamed her assistant for not filling out the right paperwork. She was later caught saying the opposite and making fun of the government there and basically admitting to lying to the authorities in messages in text on instagram and other places and they are pissed.
I find it hard to believe the Australian government is going to risk the money a blockbuster movie production injects into the economy over some dogs.
