Thinking about it, XTB could probably make a lot off of a reasonably priced Rebirth style Cerebros that happens to fit into the FT Fort Max body.

I don’t want to sound wrong saying it, but Then why would you go for buying it? Like I usually don’t buy combiner parts unless I plan to get the whole thing, so buying part of a figure when you know you can’t get the whole thing just doesn’t make sense to me.

I want FM. Could not care less about Cerebros, but then again is a necessary component and must be bought. The reason it is so overpriced considering what it does is that FT knows *most* (I have to assume that's the case) buying it will want the whole experience.

 

Placing my bet now...

The main body is gonna be in the $700-$800 range and the hips are gonna suck.

 

I'm glad they're selling just the head separately because I know a lot of people would want a Fortress or Cerebros but don't want to go in on the madness that is the full body.

Also, it means that if they end up making a Grand, I might actually get the head. As much as I love Masterforce, I'd just never spend that much money on a single toy. It's not even a matter of affording, I would just rather spend multiple hundreds of dollars elsewhere (like on several other big toys).

 

Probably closer to $1,300-$2,000 mark (this is Fanstoys after all) with ratchets that shatter  

 

Thats hilarious, my money on on this costing $1500 in total, Im just glad its a character that Im blase about so have no need to consider buying it.

 

the fort max prototype is said to me 50 INCHES TALL! That\'s taller than a small child!

 

I cant sustain buying every figure at 200 or more. 150 seems more like the right price.

This would be a nice touch seeing as it's already got a very high pre order price. The least we could hope for would be for two HeadMasters. Can't be that hard to implement and I doubt it would break the bank for FT to provide it.
