Immensely. Never cared for the Japanese Headmasters, so Rebirth is my only meaningful connection to these characters. Cerebros was easily the most memorable new character introduced in Rebirth, as he's the only one that David Wise had any sort of chance to give an arc.

Maybe someone will be able to make an add on kit.

 

Yeah that's possible/probable. I wanted the base because it was in the show (granted like ONE scene), whether the body came or not.

I just recently got the Takara Legends Fortress Maximus so that will probably satisfy my collection.

If you all think you'll be able to pick it up later (a first of its class transformer, no less - Think Hashlab Unicron-) when you change your mind, you are in for a rude awakening.

There is absolutely no way in hell I'm missing out on this. Then again, I do not buy every single Menasor set. Every single Starscream. Every single Springer. Every single Cosmos. The list goes on. My house is not a gd swapmeet.

Prioritize and you should be fine.

Given that this is being sold separately I'm just thinking through the options for FT-40 itself now (assuming it happens). If you have other options I haven't thought of please share them. Honestly the only one I don't think will significantly upset people is #2, which I consider to be by far the least likely.

1. They could release just the body with no head since it is being sold already, but can you imagine the people who miss out on this reacting, even if they have no intention of spending the money on the body in the first place?

2. They could provide a non-transforming head for the body maybe focusing on neck articulation, but this is FT so focusing on articulation is probably the least likely option to happen.

3. They could include this figure with the body, but that is the type of thing that should be announced now so people know to just order the full body.

4. Then there is the possibility that the full body will come with Cerebros instead of Fortress. People who just want the US toon version will undoubtedly be upset by that move. I guess they could get Hannibal here to trade with people who get the full body but want Fortress instead of Cerebros, but that leads back to the problem with #3 above.

 

I ran the quoted 3.94 feet through Google and it came up to basically 120cm. I'm assuming the height is that 120cm and then it was converted to feet and then rounded to 3.94.

 

As good as it looks that's a no from me at that price point. Reinforces the idea in my head that the only fanstoys figure I'm getting from now on is beserk, anything else I'm meh on.

 

I'm down for the head if I can secure an overseas PO.
