They'll be selling him at Voyager price, so ~$30. Cheetor and Rattrap both got stuck at the Deluxe pricepoint, and Primal and Megs (formerly Ultras) are both sold as Leaders. Voyager's the only thing left in between.

 

I agree. It might be tempting to shoot a cyber-bee into Optimus Primal’s chest and send him into a destructive rage, but then you have to figure out how to run away from the big angry gorilla. It’s just not worth it in the end.

Man, I would not bet on that claw surviving for very long. I remember when mine broke I wrote an physical damn letter to Hasbro, and they sent me out Transmetal Megatron as a replacement - I lost it when I opened the pacakge, I was so pumped (remember customer support in the 90s?!) Then of course Megs broke in half when I pulled him out of his Tupperware container and tried to transform him a decade later, whoops   The only two Transformers I ever broke!

 

My TM Megatron is still intact...but I dare not move his waist.

 

Man, this is great. Honestly, Kingdom Scorponok just made me want the original more so this is fantastic news for me.

Hoping for Voyager pricepoint, but assuming Leader.

 

I like this deco, it leans more in the show direction but isn't obnoxious about it. Looks like it could have been an alternate variant back in the day.

I'm betting they'll just wrap him up with Primal and Megatron at $50 like they put Rattrap with Cheetor. $40 at least, no way it's $25.

 

Broken tail is pretty common, my 1st one had a broken tail and I didn't even know I had the variant. And I was reading on other BW forums about the broken tail so I'm extra careful with mine.

 

I think that's what I like about these reissues. They're tweaked just enough to be more show accurate but still evoke that old toy feel. Compare to the Telemocha reissues which were gorgeous, but the paint jobs outpaced the sculpts. These are almost like what I "remember" the toys being in regards to the show.

I hope them doing Tarantulas puts Blackarachnia on the table. She's the only show cast member I'm missing out of the originals.

I'm almost positive this is what they might do, unless they plan on introducing a Voyager equivalent size class into the reissue line.

What other mega class figure do you think Scorponok will be paired with in this wave? I’m guessing it’s either Polar Claw (same gimmick) or Inferno (only other show mega from season 1).

 

Why do that though when rhe Mega box is smaller and we already know Scorpy fits in it?

Rattrap was upgraded so they could just ship one case assortment with he and Cheetor, but putting Scorpy in an Ultra box would be a TON of extra space.

Even if this wave is *only* Scorpy they could probably ship two Scorpys for every one Ultra. More bang for their shipping buck in the current climate.

 

If there is a cross sell, Polar Claw would make sense IIRC that was the same cross sell back then. I would pick it up depending on the price. Hoping these don’t go no higher than $30.

 

It could also be Inferno, the only other pre-TM Voyager toy who showed up on the show.

 

Though they did change the cross-sell for the others.

Polar Claw might be possible though since they're doing non-show characters now.

 

If I find him I\'ll bite.  Guessing $30-40 dollar range for him.  Got his other molds for him and this would fit nicely with them.  Have yet to find any of the others yet though.  Wonder what the release date for him will be?
