Hahaha!!! That would be quite the solution lol. I think Walmart has a heat gun for abt $20, so I'll prob run out there this w/e.
I almost grabbed BMB Prime, just bcs of the price, when I was trying to decide which one to get, and made my decision on the following..

    1. The back for BA Prime is so accurate, compared to BMB Prime. 7ef2725715.jpg 1c9f53d07d.jpg
It's the same for the arms, the paneling is more accurate, and the transformation of the panels on BA Prime is pretty enjoyable.

Lastly, the circled areas on BMB's Prime's shoulders have been known to break. 20210924_012041.jpg
So if price isn't a concern when deciding, my advice is to go for BA Prime.

I kinda like him with BMB Prime and the HA bots in both modes. Mpm Ironhide is awesome but scales only with the rotf/dotm leader optimus.

a lot of people will say BA prime but I never liked him much.. he is complicated and the altmode just doesnt look right with the wide tanks and rear

What got everyone started with Studio Series? I did not get my first figures until fall of 2018 and that was only because Starscream and i believe Lockdown were on clearance. I kept them sealed. Had no inkling to get the flimsy ss-01 (made me think the rest of the figures were compromised?) so i thought i would just buy whatever was on clearance. Then I set my sights on Ironhide and fell in love!!! Screenshot_20210924-002355~2.png Jazz was next, then SS-32. I then got ROTF Megatron used without a box and he became my very first full on paint job! Screenshot_20210924-003336~2.png The rest has been an expensive, but deeply satisfying journey. I regret nothing (other than returning my extra Scrapmetal)!

Started with SS05 Optimus Prime, back when the line was just getting started.
Then I got MV1 Starscream and was impressed by how good the jet mode is.
Before I knew it I got all the wave 1 Deluxes, then the leaders... and well, I fell down the rabbit hole of hunting down every damn wave.
I never had a movie collection despite growing up on them so I just kept buying em up, and so here we are today, with SS almost at the finish line, and my shelf full of these figures!

I started out in the very beginning. Bb was studio series no 1 I passed on that but got the wave. Blackout and grimlock rank as my favorite early studio figures. I have so many movie figures it's ridiculous but I felt these guys were going to be a bit more screen accurate.

I've only passed on a few. Ksi sentry, hot rod and some bbs are ones I've said no to. I do have a few bbs since then. I have devastator but not combined. I have most of the megs including the Mpm. I did pass on the battle damaged megs because he was too similar to the rotf release. I got upgrade kits for jetfire prime, jetwing prime and sentinel, blackout and bb.

I enjoyed the movie verse overall. Took the good stuff from all the movies. Read some movie comics too even if they never did dotm but did some prequels. I do love the studio series releases.

TFW Starscream and Ratchet were the first two i bought. I only has plans to complete TF1 cast. Had bought everyone except for Bonecrusher and Barricade. Then right around the time the Constructicons were announced i decided to go all in to the line.

Technically SS 13 Megatron but that was when I was only collecting Optimus and Megatron figures and I wanted a good representation of the ROTF appearance. I got the SS DOTM leaders for both because of how well they scale in both modes and that meant I had to get 2007 reps as that was the only movie missing so I got 2007 Megs and 05 Optimus (for the blades and justify not buying the same toy twice)

SS as a whole. SS Sentinel. I wanted hik so bad alongside Screamer and Ironhide. I was able to get Ironhide for a low price and then the rest of the SS line came in haha.

If you look back at all my comments when Studio Series was first announced, I was very resistant. I wanted to maintain my old ROTF/DOTM era scale.

It's funny how quickly things changed once DOTM Sideswipe got revealed. His wave came out during my internship and I remember calling Target on my way home and having them hold one for me at the register for me to pick up. He was my first figure and from then on I was hooked. I haven't gone for every single figure but my collecting focus definitely expanded beyond the DOTM cast like I originally intended.

I feel like I was all-in on studio series from the first reveals. I'd wanted better versions of the designs for so long, and I had already sold off most of my collection at that point. Hasbro has really been devious at reviving my interest in transformers right when it could have waned and disappeared. They did it with micromasters, then beast wars, then alternators then the live action films then TF Prime then IDW then studio series. I preordered all four of the preview figures in the first wave.

I was super pumped for SS-01 since it was the only version of Bee that I didn’t have a figure of. My SS-01 actually held up really well for a while, I still really like it.

Blackout was next, then Starscream. It’s kinda funny because those were my first 3 figures from the 07 line, just with the concept Camaro version of Bee instead of the 76!

Here's a picture I got of them at the time. Looks like I had added some paint to Bee, but I wouldn't finalize it for a long time.

As far as I could remember, the first few Studio Series figures I've picked up are Stinger, followed by 07 Movie Starscream, 07 Brawl, 07 Jazz (Which is one of my favorite figures of 2019), and... the rest is basically history.

Yes, don't say you saw him playing with his toys...

    He is worthy.

Yeah, do them like a matryoshka doll with Scalpel in there too.

I originally got Stinger and Blackout because I didn't have them in plastic yet, I thought those were the only ones I'm going to buy...

Then came the Constructicons... I basically collected SS around the Constructicons, for example : Got Jetfire for that scene with Mixmaster which also means I need Optimus to use the combining gimmick on Jetfire, then DOTM Optimus needs to fight Shockwave and rescued by the Wreckers... it was like a food chain. Ironic because the two bots that had a decent screen time with Devastator won't likely be made.
