I’m ok, thanks for asking. I read the thread daily but with the odd exception I’m done buying the toys & other current TF media just doesn’t interest me.

That doesn’t stop me enjoying reading everyone’s comments about their latest purchases though.

I just saw Shang-Chi last night and really enjoyed it (although the final fight was a little too dark for my liking), the mid credits scene

with him talking to Wong and Captain Marvel / Banner leads me to believe the rings are possibly connected to the Eternals movie somewhat or a possible big Kree invasion perhaps, Galactus anyone? My Marvel space knowledge is only what I remember from the old 90's cartoons and the odd comic here or there

and think the possibility of a sequel or him at least appearing in future movies is intriguing.

Although I don't get the need for the girl at all other than comedic relief, she has no real skills (no way is she on a par with Hawkeye)

Didn't know about the possibility of a TV series, sounds great. If done well it could be really good but then again could be awful like quite a few of the pre Disney X-Men / Mutants TV and film stuff

 

Payday so just been into Smyths and picked up the last copy of the Army Drone they had.

Got chatting to my mate whilst I was in there. He says theres zero chance they are running the £5 off £50 vouchers again this year or probably ever again as it used to ruin them.

Assuming there will be a sale of some sort coming up, but there's going to be some dissapointed people as there's a leak going round that it's meant to start next Tuesday.

 

Seems the attic got too hot and all the electronics in my figures have stopped working, just emitting a brief burst of static. Well that's a right bugger for selling them. I have a talking dalek that just blows a raspberry.

Except for Thunderbird 2. Somehow that's kept going. Always knew there was a reason I liked that big green plane.

No idea. All I know is, they worked before the house move, they were put in sealed plastic tubs, spent a month or two in the attic which got to sauna temperatures for some reason (like, legit go up there and sweat buckets. No idea why it got so hot when the rest of the house didn't), no moisture up there, and now he and my Thunderbirds don't work. Trying to think what else has electronics. TR Fort Max, the YOTS Omega Armageddon kit, rotf optimus. I'll ned to check those things. Can't think what else has some at the moment.

I'm assuming the heat caused the solder on the circuit boards to come away a little.

 

Sounds like the new house is well insulated. Once I redid ours, and boarded it, plus we got cavity wall done, it turned into a sauna when it's even slightly warm despite the house being totally fine/bearable.

I just paid @Lord Raze for Tentakil and Overbite, paid @RoboW4rrior298 for G-Creation Sixshot and PX Ratchet, overpaid Robot Recruits for ER Scorponok (Gear4Geeks said he IS expecting some in November but can't guarantee it :S), paid Pulse for Mirage/Grimlock - I'll be shifting BW Grimlock when he turns up, if anyone is interested - paid ShowZ for the next 3 Archecore lads AND this afternoon I'm picking up SS86 Slug, 2 Wreck-Gars, 3 (maybe more) Gnaws, Tracks and Rhinox from FP....PHEW!!!

I was going to get Deformation Space Strascream and Cyberfactory BBScream but that was before I saw bloody Scorponok was available. Tsk.

I'm actually surprised that they front paged it without it. They usually only do those and on the shelf pictures. Not that I'm doubting you, but I am surprised that mods didn't want a pic with the proof of purchase too.

 

There's more DS Screamer due into TFS-Express later this year, so you won't miss it.

 

That'll be fun when I turn the attic into my man cave (current man cave room is planned to be turned into the kid's room when they turn up ). I'll have to ensure the door is left open or something, so the heat from that can flow down into the house.
