In my opinion this is the best Menasor set so far until Ocular Max make theirs (G1, but zero partsforming kibble)

 

Aren’t there articulation problems with this set though? It looks amazing but not really stable.

 

I think the biggest criticism about it is that the ankles don't have any forward/back motion, so you can't adjust his weight distribution very well. And maybe some ratchet slop that makes the toy a bit wobbly.

 

Oh yeah the combiner is EXTREMELY limited in what you can do. Both due to stability and due to parts clashing. Tho my bigger problem is how the company just straight up doesn’t offer replacement parts, or refuses to reply to requests for them, even through a retailer. Which in my book puts them as a company in the do not buy category.

Fragile figures with no replacement parts is bad.

 

It's an old combiner, the range of motion is somewhat limited, I don't have stability problems with mine, but it's quite top heavy.

 

The combined mode is definitely very statuesque- not in a particularly terrible way, per se, but the clear goal with this was aesthetics above articulation. The shoulders are rather limited and the lack of forward/back movement at the ankles is a detriment, but I’d be hard pressed to find another combiner that has this much visual flare.

Trying to determine the batteries Menasor's eyes uses.

I think they say AG3, but the writing is stupid tiny.

The batteries that said AG3 at my local store looked nothing like them either.

Hopefully it's just the batteries being worn out is why the eyes stopped.

No worries. Sometimes there's no reply, especially for older threads. So it's faster to search, just in case.

 

Replaced a scratched up Breakdown and the batteries for the eyes. I declare my Havoc back at 100%.

 

Oh man... Beautiful, still my favorite Menasor, Don Figueroa did an amazing job with the design and TFM did a good job translating it to plastic form

 

IMO the overall set is great, except the combined mode suffers from a few flaws like the shoulders and the forward leaning.

I very much prefer XTB menasor due to being a G1 fan

 

Didn’t someone 3d printed some leg extensions on this Menasor?

 

wish they would redo it in G1 style.
