3 hours ago, I bought the KFC bowl from Kentucky Fried Chicken for dinner for my dad and I. The car still doesn't work but my youngest sister gave me ride and bought some meds for dizziness for my dad from Walgreens that was across the street from KFC. Also got some Arizona diet Green Tea. Tastes just the same as regular Arizona Green Tea. Gasp! What have you done?! You removed it from it's original packaging!! It's no longer a collectable!!! Just playing! it's a cool looking clock.
Aeropress with metal filter and Kauai coffee beans with a hand grinder for making single or double cups rather than a big pot every time I want some coffee. Those Kauai beans are the smoothest, sweetest coffee bean I've ever found. Almost chocolate flavored.
Bought some good movies used at the Bookstore and found a Trek book and one game for the Star Wars Collection. Finished up hunting for the rest of the Lord of the Rings movies and was nice to find Groundhog Day on DVD with the recent release of the Dune Film it's perfect timing finding the original Dune on DVD DVDs were $2.99 each so snagged a great assortment of movies here.
I still haven't seen that movie but I've heard good things about it and seen references of it in a lot of things for years. I bought some candles, flour tortillas and a Payday.
Following a sort of personal epiphany that started almost two years ago in terms of where I want to go with the hobbies I put time and money into, I've paid the membership fee to become a member of the National Model Railroad Association once again. I was a student member over a decade ago before real life saw me lose interest, but I've since regained it and now that I'm an adult with a job and not reliant on my parents for transportation anymore, I want to be more active in the modeling community again.
