Ordered the silver leg version on ShowZ a few days ago, first time using the store, any ideas on how long it takes till it ships typically?

If it's in stock when you ordered i'd say roughly 5-9 days. On rare occasions it can take longer but that would be unusual. Also keep in mind that like every other TF-based store they do not ship, answer e-mails or do business on the weekend other than taking orders.

They're a good store though so don't be too worried.

Yeah it was in stock when I ordered it about 5 days ago, was just getting a bit antsy since typically figures I've ordered from other places shipped a lot faster, but glad to see this isn't something that's uncommon then.

Update: Lmao, I got the shipping notification at like midnight, talk about timing the day I start to get real worried is the day it gets shipped.

5-9 days? That's a hell of a turn around in my book. That's about how long ShowZ takes just to get my orders into a box. It generally takes about three weeks to get an order from them. I do live in rural NY state though and orders seem to touch down in Nevada or some other airport on the west coast, so that may be a factor.

I was only talking about how long it takes them to ship something out, which is what he asked about. 3 weeks total is also about what it takes me to get my stuff.

In general, I think that MP10 is much better built than MP44 (handling both official MP44 and MP10).

I ended up keeping MS-01X as my Prime and relegated MP44 KO to my office.

I finally caved and bought Mr. Silverpants. Gonna do the chrome parts swap and then I need to start on a 3d printed toy head. @chchchch I blame you for this! If you hadn't made that digi of "MP-44+" so beautiful, I could've gotten by with just one 44KO. It won't be exact since the pants will be silver, not chrome, but I think it'll be good anyway. I'll have to see if it's feasible to remove the center forearm panels and replace them with a printed version with molded details or if I'll just have to use decals. Same with the knees and toes.

My leftovers will remain the comic version of Prime (I've shown him before - that extra head repainted into comic colors looks perfect), and when TE-01 gets reissued, he'll take the spot of my main MP Prime.

Got my silver leg from showz. Feels pretty good. Slightly better than my magic square copy. I do wish there was some more paint on it though.

With all the Primes you are building, you should just change your name to Alpha Trion.

For £61 from ShowZ this is pretty decent value. I just wish the legs weren’t so far forwards in relation to the hips and that he didn't look like he'd only had a couple of hours sleep from the bags under his eyes.

I'm not sure if the transformation is amazing or mad bastard crazy? Either way it is worth getting this just to see what it's like. I am quite impressed with the alt mode regardless of any shortcomings. _DSC5863.jpg _DSC5866.jpg _DSC5867.jpg _DSC5859.jpg

Anyone know a good, off the shelf Tamiya color match for the blue? I want to paint the grey area behind his faceplate. Also plan to paint the eyes yellow, but have that covered.

This thing is really awesome! Got silver leg and much like MP36 it has so much personality. And is just a lot of fun to pose.

I'm pretty sure its this one but there was a post someone painted the hands in a matching color. Obviously that was several pages ago. I believe a cobolt blue and something else got it almost exact.

Dunno if it'll help you but I personally chose to go with a darker blue for that area. It was always shown as almost black in the comic and the darker blue helped enhance the "in the shadow" look.

On the left in that photo. Note that I've done some photoshopping to enhance the comic look of him but the color should still be pretty faithful to what it is in reality.

Thanks! Tried searching for the color/color combo but no luck. I like the darker blue. Really does look like the comics. Might go that direction.

    Got him!

Any tips on removing the logo badge in his shoulder? Was going to try an exacto blade to pry it out but didn't want to risk damaging it until I heard an answer. The logo replacement plate was danging around in the ShowZ shipping bag that was taped around the box so I'm glad I didn't throw it out by accident. It's SUPER tiny.
