Why is everyone set on making this guy a retool of anyone else? Between this and "Victory Leo is Sky Lynx's cat" I'm not convinced y'all DON'T want halfassed retools

No, it's too greebly for that. It's clearly a retool of Siege Ultra Magnus. It even shares a lot of the colors!

I'm not trying to be malicious, I just see similar shapes in the arms, the space in the chest where the 'barrel' for the brainmaster goes looks like it would fit the CW combiner peg, everything below the waist could be new, but they modded the lower legs for most cw limbs off of one base mold (blades, vortex, the jets, ironhide, the truck stunticon, the helicopter aerialbot).

I mean, if anything it's smart design. I'm just pointing out what I see, and this figure is certainly not half-assed. It looks really good.

 

You have to come up with a somewhat believable excuse for justifying why you can't afford the toy. Sorry, collectable. Some folks will accept reality and some go off into left field, put on a tin foil hat and then bury their head in sand so the next guy that comes along can claim it's a mountain when they trip over the body.

 

It doesn't really matter all that much. All the features will be included and the number of people that signed up will be more than enough. Simply because the online retailers haven't even been added. So take that about 10.000 on the final day and add about double that. Because online retailers will be Germany,France,Netherlands,Spain,Italy. Basically the whole of western europe at least. And more. There are a lot of TF fans in my country alone. I can tell you that at least 200/300 people in my country will have pre-ordered it from our online sources. There are 2/3 stores here that have it up for PO.
So all that "will we make it" is for show. They know they will have enough. And the numbers is just to make more people jump in. Be it the shield the stand or that cannon.

Pretty unlikely, unless they start doing smaller HasLab campaigns for repaints of older HasLabs.

I think the price point makes that an oranges/apples argument. It's one thing to do an obscure repaint of a $600 toy vs a repaint of a $180 toy.

Depending on how Black Zarak sells, I think it's a possibility, albeit a slim one.
