It's weird dude, I woke up this morning to mine straight up Out For Delivery through UPS. Don't be surprised if you wake up tomorrow to the same thing.

It is wild. My order stated it was "preparing for shipment" until it was shipped out at 10am and was delivered at 1:30pm just 4.5 hours later.

 

I had an authorization for the sideswipe pack for 1 week and just got a shipping notice for it. The mirage pack has ETA for middle of next week.

 

Just opened this set up.

Grimlock really needed a little more paint, as he's too plain for me in his bot mode. Even green on his faux eyes on his chest would've been a big help, because as he is now, he's the most boring figure for me out of the two sets, which is a shame as Grimlock is my favorite TF character.

Just as with other folk's Mirages, mine as the port on his back that won't hold any weapons in it because the hole is slightly too big and everything just flops around on him. Somewhat disappointed by that, even though I never plan to plug anything in there....it's just the principle of it ya know?

Both bots however have very tight joints, and don't look to be missing any pieces, and that's really all I care about. Now bring on the Golden disc exclusives Amazon....I'm ready for them!

 

Interesting. Mine was originally supposed to ship yesterday and it didn't but it did update to October first today. No big deal and it's still arriving early.

Edit: Just checked my bank account and they literally just charged me for the set. Looks like it's moving up again.  

 

Mine's supposed to come between this Friday and Wednesday. I forgot, if the tracking bar has moved close to "shipped" does that mean that they actually have a copy secured for me, or is that just because it's close to the release date? Amazon is never transparent about this stuff.

 

Look at the view order details page, and if the tabs "change shipping speed" and "change payment method" have disappeared, this means that Amazon is preparing your copy for shipment. After the item has shipped the tracking bar will have the "Shipped" section highlighted and the bar will have moved past this point. The tracking bar being close to "shipped" does mean it is getting close, but seeing the previously mention tabs disappear on the view order details page is a stronger indication. I hope this info is helpful.

 

Those bars have disappeared, and it says "preparing for shipment", so it looks like it's actually gonna ship. Thank you for the info   Although after the amazon .ca debacle, I won't believe I'm truly getting my order until I have it in my hands haha

 

You're welcome. I agree about not being certain until it is in your hands. It took Amazon USA 48 hours to move both of my Battle Across time sets from "preparing for shipment" to "shipped." Unlike the Siege and Earthrise exclusives, it looks as though Amazon stock piled the Kingdom sets, I guess they got tired of receiving so much flak from Transformers fans and collectors.

 

Don’t know if this is a reported issue but keep an eye out on the hinge connecting the torso on Mirage. Looks like my pin was warped and I’m getting stress marks already on both ends.

 

So my set which got moved up and then pushed back and then charged... shipped last night and will be here tomorrow. I love Amazon... it's like having a bi-polar girlfriend with major manic episodes.

 

Better than Amazon.ca's schtick: Out-for-delivery > Delivery tomorrow > Delivery today > Delivery was delayed > Oops, we decided we don't want to deliver this after all. We're taking it back. Order cancelled, here's your refund, have a nice day > WTF.

 

That's some crazy shit dude. I have never had that happen with an Amazon order.

 

Sounds like it happened to a bunch of us.

This was like, a month ago now. My best guess is Amazon.ca broke "street date" or something, since they sent them out so long before .com, and then hastily recalled them all in transit. A few didn't get recalled in time and made it through, though. But in their ineptitude, they didn't confirm a reschedule or anything. They just gave up and "cancelled" the lot of them out from under us.

I wasn't getting stuck with another Conehead situation, so I just went and ordered at .com for the peace of mind (since on top of it all, .ca is/was sold out of the two-packs, so no re-ordering to try again). The Sideswipe/Skywarp set made it here without issue. So hoping nothing screwy happens with Mirage/Grimlock.

See, on the flipside, I'm happy that Amazon.ca came through on the Ratchet and Ironhide two-packs last year, whereas it sounds like .com dropped the ball on those ones.

 

For a lot of people yeah. Though I did manage to get mine... maybe I'm just lucky or they prioritize us morons that pay them annually for Prime? Who knows?

 

I had the same experience with my Ratchet/Lifeline 2-pack getting cancelled, so it looks like Amazon CA and Amazon USA have reversed how much they stock piled the Amazon exclusives of the Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom lines. Amazon USA still has BOTH the Kingdom: Battle Across Time 2-packs available for retail price and overnight Prime shipping.
