I’ve always felt like Star Saber is too squat compared to the MP version. Does anyone else think so? And is it just because of how wide apart his legs are?

 

Agreed. Most of the time, direction and writing quality can sink a potential hit.

 

It goes in-hand with the more toy-esque design direction of this set.

It also helps the Victory Saber mode look slightly less ridiculous and on-stilts.

Does anyone think this figure will have a waist swivel and ab crunch? I know sometimes even masterpiece figures don't have these, but it would be great if we can get it for this figure. We can sacrifice individually articulated fingers for an ab crunch and waist. The hands can always be added by a 3rd part upgrade kit. You can't get ab and waist even from an upgrade kit.

 

That makes sense. I’m wondering, does it look like the hips can ratchet in closer so he doesn’t look as boxy?

EDIT: It looks like the can ratchet in further so he’ll probably look much slimmer by ratcheting them in closer and rotating them at the thigh so he doesn’t look as wide.

His calves are just super wide. I think if they were slimmed down or even just rotated at the thigh so they were less.directly in your face they'd look better

 

No I call them toys lol! I think it’s fine to call them toys, adult collectibles, action figures, etc. What I’m against is certain people insisting that they be called one thing and that others are wrong.

Personally I call them toys but if someone wants to refer to them differently I don’t care. Just don’t tell me not to call them toys lol.
