Spider-Man (Peter Parker) wasn’t my jam as a kid. I was much more into the X-Men, and very much not into the Avengers and Parker Spidey. So when 2099 hit, man was it awesome.

I don’t know if this Mezco iteration is perfect. I don’t know that the cloth costume could ever translate to something as cool as we saw in the comic books, but it is still pretty darn nice. Besides, by the time this comes around, we’ll probably have Into the Spiderverse II and Miguel will be all the rage.

Seems to be a combination of Mezco flair, a modern interpretation of the suit, as well as elements of the PS4 game version.

Still up for grabs 48 mins later. It's going to be quite some time before it actually reaches "Waitlisted" status.

It'll probably show up on BBTS for a while too.

I was gonna pass.....dukefett the enabler talked me into it.

Unless bbts buys a bunch I don't think it will because it says it is a mezco exclusive. However I don't think they have a set amount because it is a preorder so I imagine it will be up a few days.

I feel like those arm spikes are too big and something that would be prone to breaking off.

    Always glad to help!! lol

I think they're big enough to hold well in a fall or something. Batman Beyond I was always afraid of breaking them since they're a little tiny and sharp to hook onto stuff too.

Yeah the PO is not that far out. I kind of wonder if they're literally producing it now and they'll leave it open for a day or two to determine the run size. If this is coming out in a couple months, it pretty much has to be going soon if not right now.

Interesting idea. The release date SAYS Dec this year to Feb next year, but we've seen them jump the que a few times so far this year.

Yeah like I feel if something is going to be in hand by then it's got to be in production in some way. That's how it seems lately, S7 say that it takes basically 6 weeks now to ship stuff, at least. If something shipped from a factory today, I doubt it would be in a customer's hand until mid-November.

@Slender102, @Legate and anyone else waiting for Firefly to drop:

    We've got Destro - March 17th and Roadblock - June 30th

If my calculations is correct based on the above posting: Sept 29th should be the day that Firefly pre-orders should be surfacing with a teaser on the 28th

Disclaimer: I can be wrong until unless Mezco says otherwise.

Sounds legit. I'll counter that logic with the proposal that they'll defer pre-orders a little bit in order to make the pre-orders part of the Fall Mezco Con event.

Reeve Superman sure has been a hard sell. I've taken them to two different shows where nobody has so much as glanced in their direction.

The way they packed it is beyond stupid. I bought the Mezco Kirk back when I was making a real go at running a shop. That thing at least has pictures of the figure on the back. This Superman is just a dumb silver canister with the S and a rainbow/prism graphic. You practically have to open it and then everybody demands a discount because it's opened. Talked to three different dealers over the weekend that had people pull that on them. That or sell it online and let some hole like eBay take 25% while not protecting you from fraudulent chargebacks.

I can only imagine how they'll fuck up the Keaton Batman whenever they get around to delivering it.
