Update: after rewatching DOTM, looking at Sentinel's head up close, it made me click towards the fact that his helmet is a mixed variety of 2007-DOTM optimus, with high hints of AOE-TLK optimus

 

I grabbed it because of the Preview.
It seems to be one of the most accurate and best Movie Figures so far.

I really like Sentinel a lot.
But I really do not want to pay
200$+ for a brand new engineered 3rd Party Figure.

Better grab that now with Discount Points than regret it later.

 

making some guessed size measurements with rulers next to BA prime, i honestly find it rather fine to have Sentinel a bit more taller to that of Prime, and yes, pushing away the fact that the movie constantly cheats with the sizes, Sentinel would be likely bigger against Prime since of course, considering that he was a previous Autobot Leader, he would've had a larger stance compared to his highest ranking student

Even though i can understand the disappointment vibes from some people with this release, but in all fairness, we don't really have much options especially with that possible assumption that most 3P companies will be purged in courtesy of Disney, Hasbro and etc.

yet we will get more mediocre designed releases from hasbro releases- and we'll only have scarce releases-

True, it may as well be the best attempt to give us a stand-in Sentinel Prime at this rate for top notch KO's, while the complaints do hold merit for as much as they nag about certain nicks and peeves about the SS Sentinel mold, it's already a great contender for what it is, which is frankly what we would receive within a timely matter until it starts rolling out stocks

to be concrete, this wouldn't mean that some inevitable releases of Sentinel would falter against this, there would be some impending designs that would topple this, but to this day, we got what was essentially a great character that was merely undermined by popularity against the odds, and imagine that they would make a character that would barely reach the high stake on the shelf if they were openly produced so often

happened with MPM Barry which got a lot of copies, but ultimately didn't really sell all well compared to his previous contender to that of Bumblebee-

This OSKO is most likely going to the current standard for a Sentinel prime to go along with anyone's MPM classed DOTM collection, and while it may not deliver much, it proved worthy enough to be highly anticipated (aside from the sudden price being raised to 130 in some platforms that hold preorders)

Yep. Idk after owning the SS I suddenly want this guy. A fun transforming sentinel that looks really good calls to me. I just hope it’s their good plastic and not the gummy dragoon plastic.

 

I'm gonna wait to see how the Alien Attack Megatron turns out. If that figure is decent, then I'll take a look at picking this up. Otherwise, no real rush for me to pick up an OS SS figure that costs more than some original designs.

considering how good he already is, the size is honestly the least of my literal worries for that matter-

i'd likely weather up the shield for it to look a bit less toyish, along with adding some additional paint to the overall figure once i get a hold of it-

I got my balance request from showz yesterday, but I'm not sure that I want to pay for this. I may just ask them to cancel.

I am constantly in danger of physically running out of space with my collection and have to sell figures often, so I don't want them all to be huge.

i merely have the entire autobot cast, ROTF and 2007 megs, and they're already hogging up my cabinet space for them- so i mostly had Ratchet and Ironhide in vehicle mode while Prime, Jazz, and Bee stayed in robot mode, along with the other Megatron's-

and whenever that OS SS The Fallen comes out when the SS leader stays long enough- that would be quite the whopper in terms of hogging space-
