No one. Absolutely no one. Is "hoping for less for their money." Some people don't think specific features are worth adding, but that's really not the same thing.

The question is whether or not we're satisfied with what (at the moment) it seems like we're getting.

Now, speaking purely for myself, I've already said I'm supporting the figure as it is, no tiers included. If tiers are added, that's great. I do have some opinions as to what tiers are viable, and out of that, what would be more desirable, but I'll be happy with whatever they give me.

As to a sound chip, it's always seemed to me the most viable explanation for why they're doing the interview with the voice actor. It struck me as a stretch that they'd do a full dub of the Victory cartoon. Honestly, the truth, that there's apparently nothing at all, but the voice actor just wanted to chat, strikes me as bizarre. But if that's truly all it is, fine. No big deal.

But I was envisioning the chip as Tier 3, not a modification of Tier 2. Obviously, if it IS a modification of Tier 2, that's great! I won't complain about getting something added. Indeed, I'm happy to learn that the stand will be colored, even though I was fine with it when it was transparent.

But I'm sure as heck not going to insist on the sound chip, lest the existing Tier 2 be something to complain about.

 

Still no word about how people in Japan might be able to order one? Are they even opening it up there?

 

I can now see why people are upset about those guns being hollow underneath but I still stand by the fact somebody will make a cheap 3D printed fill kit for that for those who really are bothered by it.

The stand also looks a billion times better in color.

I hope this is the point where they open up Japanese orders because otherwise, that is legitimately money being left on the table.

They're trying to reach a new audience this way. It's pretty safe to assume that everyone following the official Hasbro Pulse and Transformers socials already knows everything about this project. (And Hasbro did post about the interview on those channels, it's not like we weren't allowed to watch.) If they can get a few new backers from Sabat's followers, we all benefit.
