Anyway, I'm loving how she's turning out! I do wish you the best of luck with that financial crisis tho.

 

She actually was going to be Enty in the beginning, but right at the moment I sat down I had the idea to turn her into Akagi, and thus Tsunami was born. Enterprise is still planned, but I need another Broadside first.

I am aware of this and have been pondered what to do with my versions pf the mold. I have really been wanting to do a Type VII Class German Submarine. Especially since TLK put the idea in my head of a WWII sub.

I have many projects planned, though. I will finish Akagi when I get the paints, and do what else I can in the meantime.

 

I can't wait to see it. Enterprise was my favorite.

 

So, it’s been over a year since I started this project. I am in the process of moving, and removed her from the pile of parts she had been sitting in this entire time.




She is not in any state I would consider finished. I never did much work on her after my last update, and I was far from happy with her when I quit working on her. She was my first big heavy scratch project and I didn’t know a lot about what I was doing, however, in the year that has passed I have learned a lot about both kitbashing, and customizing in general.


She’s been in the back of my mind this entire time though. For the longest time, I had thought to scrap her and work on a V2 much later down the road, and I think I perhaps will do a V2 someday, but messing with her after all this time makes me want to be able to at least get her in a state in which I can say I’m proud, so in the next few months I’d like to start work on her again.

I have been very busy this last year making customs, many of which I have never posted, so in time you’ll be seeing her brothers and sisters on this board. All of them have a little bit of her in them.

 

Holy sh*t you finished it?! Epic.

 

Looking god so far. The head has almost a movie vibe to it.

 

This build is so intense! I love it.
It makes me wonder if anyone will ever build a working MazinZarak.
