Well I'm excited to say that my separation kit is ready for preorders again. If you missed the thread I have been working on resin printing the back plate I designed along with the updated internal kit that I worked on with @geekgirl. If you have a printer you can download the internal kit from Thingiverse. The back plate however has to be printed by me. It's taken me 3 months to match the color of the spikes pretty close.

How do you like that upgrade kit for Galvs? Specifically the new shoes. I can't decide if they make his feet appear too long.

I know that was directed at someone else, but I thought I'd share mine on the toy deco. I love them on him!

 

I like them, I think they look better in person than in pics. I agree that the feet might be a touch too long now with them on, but I think it's an improvement over stock and adds some additional drama to the look of the figure. Some people have also been repainting them to a matte black to match the other paint on the figure better.

 

Thanks guys. I have a set of the other shoes (I know you've seen them, They have a spiked toe). But I like these too! More of a dress shoe than a skull venter.

Just noticed I have a redundant Wheelie. Two, in fact, depending on your POV.  

Now that lumber prices have come down it’ll soon be time for me to build a new, bigger display case. I’m going to build it so that I can store his box inside the base, which will clear an enormous amount of space in my spare room.

 

Just thought I would through this in here if I can. This is a review of the separation kit that I sell for anyone interested in separating the planet from the bot.

 

After many months in storage, I was finally able to free Unicron from his cardboard prison. I would love to time travel with this thing and show it to 6 year old me. I wouldn't let 6 year old me take a stab at transforming it, but I'd get hyped about the future. He's big and impressive, and made me wildly nervous to transform. I was mortified that I was going to break something with every untabbing of a panel. But, it's so cool! Photo dump coming up:

I did get ahead of myself shooting these, with missing screw covers and a the wings not set correctly, but still, a lot of fun setting it up and really cool piece to have. Hope you all enjoy the pics!
