And voiced by Black actors. It was a joke.

Yeah, the Jazz insert was attempted back on page 1, and I think it went over most peoples' heads then, too. Must only be us old dudes that get it.

Absolutely. I never understood how beautifully teal and black could go together until I met this guy ❤

I like to call him Trailmix. What a loveable guy.

Tarn’s cool looking, though I know nothing about the character (never read far enough into IDW). What’s the association with Lugnut?

Basically Tarn's just a super-fanboy of Megatron. I think after Megs defected to the Autobots his sanity declined or something (I haven't read MTMTE either)

Ah, so both characters are strongly devoted to Megatron. Thanks!

Love the way that Skywarp is black in this thread, but always purple in any thread involving Cyclonus...

But he's probably my favourite black bot..

I imagine Turmoil as the most "hateful' Decepticon.

He is neither bigoted or recklessly destructive or glory-sleeking. He doesn't even seem to enjoy the suffering he leaves wake.

This empty scorn of all other life makes even beings like Unicron and the Fallen briefly recoil in shock

Scourge and the Sweeps rip Ultra Magnus to pieces by draw-and-quartering him in the original movie script. Sounds like something a Scourge would do by "causing great trouble or suffering".

    Respectfully, I disagree.

G1 Scourge had the name for over a decade before, and was featured in a major motion picture that was so popular it was just screened again two days ago.

RID Scourge was renamed from Black Convoy. Both of those names don't suit him, IMHO, so I call him Darkside (Twisted Metal reference). As an interesting coincidence, this allows both dark Primes (Nemesis and Darkside) to be named after Predacon/Decepticon ships!

A motion picture that was “so popular” it barely made half the money back domestically that it cost them to make it

Don’t get me wrong I’m one of the firms that still loves this film for everything that it is but let’s not sit here and claim it was such a popular Success at the time of its release

I’m not sure how a point stands when it’s made on a poor foundation ......but what ever

As to it being lame to reuse the name on new characters......that’s a matter of opinion , and if it fits the new character in question
